Purpose of the job:
The aim of the program is to educate and fully prepare a future manager who would be able by the end of the program to take over the In-Store Logistic Manager position in one of the IKEA stores.
This program is developed to ensure succession for the management positions in IKEA.
The ISL Manager Store is the logistic expert in securing the service level goals, efficient low cost goods-flow processes, and logistics competence in the store to strengthen IKEA’s position as the best home furnishing store and the best retailer to work for in the local market.
Scope of the job:
Fulfill the customer promise
Accountable for store logistic capacity (Space, Equipment, People) as a part of the Supply Chain capacity
Secure monitoring and supervising of the ordering process in the store
Secure operational forecasting in the store in line with the capacities available
Jointly with Sales secure range management process in the store including phase in& out and activities
Actively participate in maintaining and developing the cooperation within the Commercial Team of the Store with the overall ambition to inspire and satisfy customers by securing the low price image
Secure that the Service Level goals (365 days per year) are reached in the store
Maximize store logistic productivity by securing the efficient goods flow process through the store
Accountable for store logistic costs including Customer Delivery
Actively participate in creating the store business plan. Monitor and control development and execution of logistic action plans
Create an environment where the IKEA Culture is strong and where the diversity of our customers and co-workers is valued and embraced
Secure the logistic competence in the store
Provide future leaders and specialists through active succession planning
Secure the motivation and maintain positive co-worker relations
Accountable for implementation of agreed and decided global/national logistical developments like replenishment solutions, routines, working methods and tools
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years retail management experience
Mobility within Russia
The ability to work on tactical and operational level
The ability to make good decisions and use common sense
The ability to look for different/new ways of solving problems
Self awareness and confidence in your abilities
The ability to work through others, set priorities and delegate responsibility
