GENERAL SUMMARY:
Perform installations, preventive and remedial maintenance of company’s equipment at customer locations and in different operating environments, with limited supervision as directed by management. Adhere to administrative policies and escalation procedures.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Install and establish satisfactory operation of all company’s hardware and software
Perform pro-active maintenance according to established procedures
Adhere to proper escalation procedures. Perform part replacements as directed by service policies and procedures
Includes the timely and accurate submission of all associated documentation as well as part returns within 24 hours of an event. Submit accurate and timely expense reports and timecards
Prepare accurate cases records at the completion of an event
Assure complete customer satisfaction at assigned accounts by adherence to the following: prompt onsite arrival time, technical expertise, knowledge of customer environment, professionalism, periodic visits as needed
Maintain all assigned spare parts, tools and personal test equipment
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or senior employee on-site.
Maintain microcode at current levels at all assigned accounts
Attend training classes as required to develop and maintain a working knowledge of company’s equipment, software, OEM equipment and Basic configurations
Diagnose limited system malfunctions to isolate problems to company, other OEM vendors or software and develop appropriate action plans
Plan installation of new equipment including the creation of basic implementation configuration files
Ideal profile of the candidate:
2011/12 Master graduate of a high-ranked technical University/Institute
IT/related to IT major
Upper Intermediate/Fluent English
1-2 years of IT experience
