Ernst & Young is looking for Interns for its Global Mobility and Personal Tax Services Group.

 

Group activity

 

Expatriate Tax Compliance & Advisory Services (provision of advisory services regarding cross-border employment structuring opportunities and various aspects related to work in Russia, provision of Russian and US tax return completion services, processing tax notifications and provision of payment instructions, analysis of expatriates' reporting obligations).

Immigration Services (provision of advisory support in the immigration area, assistance with applying for corporate permits for the engagement of foreign labor and individual work permits for expatriate employees).

Mobility Advisory Services (assistance with testing and validating of international mobility programs).

Personal Tax Services (for family offices, High Net Worth Individuals and private equity/hedge fund structures: evaluation of income tax planning techniques, review and analysis of multi-country structuring and planning opportunities, design of appropriate tax strategies for complex situations, coordination of international tax and immigration projects)

Responsibilities:

  • Learn and continuously increase understanding of expatriate and personal tax immigration and other related issues. 
  • Prepare personal income tax returns. 
  • Prepare international assignment-related calculations such as tax cost projections, tax equalization calculations, etc. 
  • Research various topics such as technical or treaty interpretation/application, regulatory issues, prepare related communications for clients for the supervisors’ review. 
  • Develop collaborative relationships with our clients and internal colleagues. 

 

Candidate profile:

  • Graduate 2010/2011.
  • Upper-intermediate English (both verbal and written).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Team player.
  • Able to work full-time (end of January - end of April).
