Babayeva A round table discussion on the topic – “The Role of Internet technologies in the Sphere of Education” has been held in Baku today. The Internet Forum of Azerbaijan was the organizer of the event, Trend reports referring to the Forum. During the arrangement, Osman Gunduz, Head of the Forum, gave presentation “The Role of Internet technologies: Problems and perspectives” and “Internet in Education: Technological Issues”. Sammad Abbasov, Coordinator of AzNet IT Project, gave a speech during the event as well. Raheed Alakbarli, Technical Director of Data Telekom Company, Rasim Aliguliyev, Director of the IT Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan, as well as representatives of the Azerbaijan Telecommunications and IT Ministry, UNICEF, Azerbaijan Education Ministry, Hewlett Packard Company, delivered their speeches during the round table. Participants of the meeting held discussions devoted to the situation with the introduction of Internet technologies to the educational sphere. It was marked in their speeches that there are problems in the sphere of IT educator’s preparation as well as the lack of necessary manuals. The preparation of the united standards for the Internet resources in the sphere of education, as well as generalization of proposals for further submission to the Education Ministry of the Country was marked. Президент Азербайджана выразил соболезнование польскому коллеге 2006-11-23 19:52 "Тренд" 23 ноября президент Азербайджана Ильхам Алиев выразил соболезнование президенту Польши Леху Качински в связи с многочисленными человеческими жертвами в результате взрыва, произошедшего на шахте Халемба. Как передает «Тренд», Ильхам Алиев выразил глубокую скорбь в связи с происшествием и выразил соболезнование президенту Польши, семьям погибших, всему польскому народу от своего имени и от имени азербайджанского народа.
