There is approved the Procedure for creation of permanent customs control zones in cross-points through the state boarder of the Russian Federation
The Order
of the Federal Customs Service of Russia N 1161 of September
23, 2008 (document is in Russian) determines the Procedure for
making decision about creation of permanent customs control
zones in cross-points through the state boarder of the
Russian Federation. There is established that the decision about
creation of a permanent customs control zone shall be
made by the head of the Federal Customs Service or his substitute
on the basis of application of a customs body, in activity region
of which the according cross-point is located. The application
of customs body should conclude motivated ground in need for
creation of the customs control zone and information on parameters
of the customs control zone supposed for creation with annexation
of graphical materials representing boarders and territory of
the customs control zone as plans of cards.
