In 1933 the US market saw a release of the unusual radio which looked like a Coca-Cola bottle. It was produced by Crosley Radio Company of Cincinnati, Ohio.

This product is very impressive standing 23" inches tall and 7.5" in diameter and weighing nearly 15 pounds. The radio case is molded of a red plastic material called Durez. The two nobs on the front controls the station and the volume.

In 1933 consumers could buy the bottle radio for $18.75 - a considerable amount of money for that time. Today this product is rare and quite valuable and costs between $7500 to $8000 in excellent condition.
