A cafe named in honour of US President Donald Trump opened in the Bangladesh capital of Dhaka on Saturday.
Trump fan Saiful Islam name the café after his hero and offers Trump burgers, sandwiches, cocktails and sauces named after the president.
Visitors can also take a photo next to the full-length Trump poster which stands at the entrance.
The average flow of guests is about 200 people every day.
Belgium: Protesters demand migration minister be sacked during rally

Nearly 8,000 people demonstrated against the Belgian State Secretary for Asylum and Migration Theo Francken in Brussels on Saturday over his comments on African migrants.
Protesters held banners stating “Theo first in the boat” and “we are not dangerous” as they marched past a centre for migrants.
Mathieu Bietlot, Sociopolitical Coordinator at Bruxelles Laïque addressed the crowd, «Today we are walking the streets to demand that the minister be sacked.”
The demonstration came several days after Francken told a news agency that the European Union must turn back African migrants who paid people smugglers to cross the Mediterranean.
Tunisia: Nearly 800 arrested as financial protests rage on

Hundreds gathered outside city hall in Tunis on Saturday as protests over new financial laws continued.
Protesters held anti-government banners and shouted through megaphones as they voiced the anger at the plans that would raise taxes and the price of basic goods.
Organisers called for nationwide protests against the law urging people to continue to rally until the government reneges on its decision.
The protests have raged for nearly one week and have seen more than 770 arrested by police.
Protests are expected to continue through January 14 which will mark the anniversary of the removal of former Tunisian president Zine El Abidine Ben Ali from government.

Residents of Cape Town branded US President Donald Trump a racist on Saturday over his “shithole countries” rant.
One resident went as far to say that Donald Trump must be 'psycho', with another insisting that the US and Europe’s influence and involvement with Africa is far more corrupt than any of their own dealings.
Another resident had a positive take on the comment: «Trump, personally I'm not mad at you man, you know you can't hate a dog for barking. I know you're a racist — I can't hate you for that. I also love my people above everyone else.»
A driver in the city centre gave a more direct stance: «he always had that attitude towards Africa and now it came out into the open. He is utterly racist and doesn't want anything to do with Africa.»

Austria: Thousands denounce far-right coalition in protest

About 20,000 people marched through the streets of Vienna on Saturday protesting against the new coalition government with the right-wing Austrian Freedom Party (FPO).
Protesters with placards and banners demanded other European countries boycott ministers who are members of the FPO.
About 1,000 police officers provided security during the march and the rally.
The far-right FPO recently reached a five-year deal with the Austrian People’s Party two months after the parliamentary elections.
In December, Austrian Chancellor and leader of Austrian People's Party built a coalition with FPO which made it the only western European nation with a far-right party in government.

Czech Republic: Zeman leads but faces presidential run-off against Drahos

The Czech Republic’s incumbent president Milos Zeman took the lead in the first round of the presidential elections that took place on Saturday scoring 39 percent of the vote.
He will now meet his main rival, pro-European independent candidate Jiri Drahos, in the second round that will take place on January 26 — 27.
Speaking at a press conference in Prague after the announcement of the results, Zeman thanked his supporters asking them to «come with their friends, relatives, beloved and just anyone, who can vote...to come and take part in the second round of the elections.»
«I’m still young and full of strength and energy and I’m looking forward for debates,» said Zeman.
Drahos, 68, chemist and former head of the Czech Academy of Sciences, is running as an independent candidate.
Seventy three-year-old Zeman has become the most outspoken critic of the EU immigration policy during his years of presidency. He also has pushed for better ties with China and Russia, holding a stance against EU sanctions on Moscow.
Czech Republic: Drahos thanks supporters in presidential run-off

Independent presidential candidate Jiri Drahos advanced to the second round of Czech presidential election that took place on Saturday after receiving 26.3% of the votes.
Drahos thanked his supporters who had gathered in the election headquarters at La Fabrica club in Prague, saying that the runoff against the incumbent President Milos Zeman will be the «most difficult», however, he placed his hope in his countrymen «who wants change».
«Come and vote,» urged Drahos, adding «it won't be pointless.»
Voter turnout was 61%.
A pro-European independent candidate and former head of the Czech Academy of Sciences, Drahos, 68, will now challenge Zeman in the second round of the Czech elections that will take place on January 26-27.
Leading pre-election polls called 73-year-old incumbent President Milos Zeman, who is a harsh critic of the EU immigration policy, the favourite over eight other candidates in the in the 2018 presidential campaign, however, noting that he would not be able to avoid face-to-face rivalry with Jiri Drahos in the second round.
France: Scores march for Parisian pride and French identity

About 150 people participated in the 'Paris Pride' march in the centre of the capital on Saturday evening in a show of French identity.
Demonstrators marched to the church of Saint Genevieve, the patron saint of Paris, waving flares, torch lights and the coat of arms of the Paris district.
The organiser of the march, Pierre Larti stated the aim was to promote «the Parisian and French identity».
He referred to the image of Saint Genevieve, saying it was used «in order to embody the Parisian identity that we defend that we want to put forward».

Dozens of Muslims participated in a rally in New Delhi, Saturday, to protest against an upcoming visit by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, due to the recent position on Jerusalem by US President Donald Trump.
Protesters with placards and flags took part in the march before setting an Israeli effigy plastered with pictures of Netanyahu on fire. Reportedly, about 1,000 villages across the country held similar protests.
Netanyahu is due to arrive in India for an official six-day visit, despite India's positive vote in the UN on rejecting US recognition of Jerusalem as the Israeli capital.
Spain: 109 migrants and refugees picked up off Malaga coast

Members of Maritime Safety and Rescue Society organisation (Salvamento Marítimo) intercepted two vessels with migrants near the Malaga coast, Saturday afternoon.
According to the reports, about 109 people were on board the two vessels; among them were nine pregnant women and 16 people declared minors.
On arrival, Red Cross staff provided first medical aid and sent three people to the nearest hospital. According to reports, the vessels departed from Morocco.

Thousands protested in the Israeli capital of Tel Aviv, Saturday, against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and political corruption after a recording of his 26-year-old son, Yair Netanyahu, was released telling an Israeli gas tycoon's son that «my dad arranged $20 billion for your dad,» during an argument in a strip club over 400 shekels spent on a prostitute.
Protesters marched through central Tel Aviv, pausing outside the home of gas tycoon Kobi Maimon, in what is the seventh straight demonstration against political corruption by members of the Israeli government. «I want to have a civilised state and not one where twice a week the prime minister is investigated by the police,» stated one protester.
Protesters also clashed with a group of right-wing, Israeli-government supporters with police separating the two groups.
This round of protests was sparked off in December 2017, after a bill was passed preventing police from recommending indictments at the end of investigations amid an ongoing corruption probe involving Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu.
The recordings of Yair Netanyahu arguing with the son of gas tycoon Kobi Maimon over 400 shekels spent on a prostitute, was released last Monday, in which the Israeli PM's son can be heard saying «Bro, you have to be nice to me. Bro, my dad got your dad a sweet deal, he fought for it at the Knesset,» adding «My dad arranged $20 billion for your dad, and you're whining with me about 400 shekels.»

Dozens of people took part in a civil war reenactment to honour Confederate leaders General Robert E Lee and General Thomas 'Stonewall' Jackson on Virginia's Lee-Jackson Day at the Stonewall Jackson Memorial Cemetery in Lexington, Saturday.
Participants donning civil war-era uniforms and Confederate flags marched to the Stonewall Jackson Memorial Cemetery following a civil war reenactment, where they honoured the two Confederate leaders.
«We're here to honour General Jackson and, of course, General Lee, who is buried at the other end of town, on Lee-Jackson day, which is a holiday here in the state of Virginia. That's what this is about, we're here to honour these great generals,» stated one participant.
Lee-Jackson Day is a state holiday in Virginia to honour the two Confederate leaders of the military and naval forces during the US civil war. Virginia began observing Lee's birthday on January 19, 1889, with Jackson added to the remembrance services in 1904.

Julius Malema’s Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) organised a protest outside an H&M store in Pretoria on Saturday, in anger at an advert which activists deem to be racist.
A large group of protesters dressed in the distinctive EFF uniform can be seen chanting outside an H&M outlet in Menlyn Mall shopping centre.
Reports and images from elsewhere in South Africa suggest that protesters vandalised shop fronts, trashed displays and pulled down clothing rails.
The Swedish retailer has come under severe criticism recently for an advert promoting its children's range, which shows a young black boy modelling a jumper with the slogan, ‘Coolest monkey in the jungle.'
H&M has since removed the advert and apologised for any offence cause.

Iran: Trump 'failed' to undermine nuclear deal — President Rouhani

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani announced on Sunday that the United States' «attempt to breach these [Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA)] obligations failed,» in Tehran.
The speech, in which the Iranian president claimed that «victory will be for us till the world ends,» was broadcast on state television.
Rouhani also added that Friday's decision by US President Trump to uphold JCPOA for the time being «means the victory of law over dictatorship.»
Trupmp's announcement came a day after EU members expressed their joint support for Iran’s nuclear deal and praised its success.

The Russian Ministry of Defence released aerial footage on Friday of missile strikes in Syria's Idlib Province, that reportedly eliminated the militant group which shelled the Khmeimim airbase on December 31.
The airstrikes also reportedly destroyed the militant's storage facility.
Two Russian military personnel were killed in the mortar attack against the airbase on New Year's Eve.

Portugal: Community centre fire kills eight in northern Portugal
At least eight people have been killed and several more injured after an explosion sparked a fire at a community centre in Vila Nova da Rainha on Sunday.
Local media reported at least 35 people injured, six of them seriously.
Footage shows emergency services loading one of the victims onto an ambulance.
The fire started when a boiler in the building exploded. The initial blaze quickly spread, igniting flammable material in the roof.
More than 60 people had been in the building either participating in an amateur card tournament or watching football on TV.
