The Rules of import to the RF customs territory of production being subject for obligatory confirmation of conformity shall come into effect from March 12, 2008
The Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation N 53
of February 7, 2008 (document is in Russian) approves
the Rules determining the procedure for import to the Russian
Federation customs territory of production (goods) being subjects
for obligatory confirmation of conformity pursuant to legislation
of the Russian Federation and other normative legal acts. Conformity
of goods to obligatory requirements shall be made by means of
submission to the Russian Federation customs bodies of one of
the documents provided by technical regulations, which have
equal legal force independently from the schemes of obligatory
confirmation of conformity and being necessary for customs purposes
documents.
The Decree shall be valid from March 12, 2007.
