Ha,ha.
This is Hanna and me finally getting to take those damed things off our feet- only after like seven hours and 30+miles.
Hanna is from the Pittsburgh TRIC (Three Rivers Inline) group. I met her a while back at their big event, Hills and Thrills., and we have been friends since.
We roomed together this weekend with another woman Elo (who we had just escorted uptown on skates to meet her husband). I was in so much pain here- I am terribly out of shape and contrary to the Pitt people's opinion, New York does have hills! I think I got to skate them all (uphill). Only fell once (no damage). And never was the smile once off of my face (OK, I'm not a smiler- but MintyFreshFlavor caught me in one of those rare facial moments here)

The Concept!
I was trying for an Ingmar Bergman "Persona" type feel to this shot. By using random yet similar human forms that seem to be interacting but are also separate and individual in their existence.

Sounds good huh...

We stopped off for ice cream after Sundays skate and I said "Hey Dustin, Wana be in one of my pictures?"
"OK Al."

Leaving For Padova, Italy- Back Next Week

Morgane and I are leaving tomorrow morning for a competition in Padova, Italy.

We’re travelling by train to Weinfelden, Switzerland. Once there, we will meet up with Bill Begg and a group of skaters. We will then travel overnight by bus to Padova, Italy for a competition.

If there is a lack of entries, updates, and news on SSW and if I don’t reply promptly to e-mails, you know the reason.
