Not much time for knob twisting lately. There seems to be a narrow azimuth window/conditions for the south Pacific NDBs I have Dxed the last year. They are not strong or persistent - patience is a virtue! AOP is a challenge as the USB is covered and unreadable by DGPS and the LSB is really not in the clear here. LSB of SON covered by a carrier. When I went to plot SON in GeoClock I found that the grayline had just passed over the location about 30 minutes or so earlier. SON is on a line kind of between PNI and NF, TVL is farther and RG is closer. TUT is a challenge as the U/L are swamped by USA NDBs/carriers. 20071115 02:52 290 AOP 1030 7.0 100 699 Antelope - Rock Springs, WY, USA 20071119 07:23 412 SON 1020 6.0 500 6001 Santo - Santo Pekoa IAP, VUT (#482)*1 20071119 08:10 413 CBC 1019 8.0 25 1376 Anahuac - Chambers Co Apt, TX, USA (#483)*2 (Don, Canada - ndblist 19/11/2007) Here are the logs from the past few days listening sessions. I've been pretty busy editing OTR (Old Time Radio) files so haven't had as many late night sessions. After several weeks of mild temps, it turned cold and the rain became snow. 20 05:11 203 DMZ 1034 1711 Y DICKSON, TN, USA (new for Oregon) 20 05:21 209 HCD 1042 1144 HUTCHINSON, MN, USA 20 06:43 224 BH 1033 1840 Birmingham, AL, USA 20 05:25 239 BBB 937 1077 BENSON, MN, USA 20 06:46 243 TWM 1041 1248 TWO HARBORS, MN, USA 20 06:13 243 OZW 1026 1684 Howell, MI, USA 20 06:15 243 3X 1020 949 CLUFF LAKE, SK, CAN with DAID 20 06:54 253 GB 1060 1040 1075 'Garno' Marshall, MN, USA 20 06:58 257 SQT 1040 1037 2358 'Satellite' Melbourne, FL, USA 20 05:55 263 ECY 1035 1035 1721 EUNICE, LA, USA 20 07:04 269 PK 1050 1048 1097 Park Rapids, MN, USA 20 07:10 272 V1 976 668 MOOSE JAW MUNI, SK, CAN 20 04:44 272 ULM 1047 1035 6.54 1146 NEW ULM, MN, USA 20 04:47 272 HNR 1035 1033 1161 HARLAN, IA, USA 20 07:07 272 GP 1053 1045 1166 Grand Rapids, MN, USA 20 07:09 274 CAN 1050 1030 264 Bremerton, WA, USA 20 06:02 275 IKV 1042 1032 1243 ANKENY, IA, USA 20 06:10 277 V2 1045 736 HUMBOLDT, SK, CAN 20 06:07 277 OT 1054 1043 1111 WORTHINGTON, MN, USA 20 06:29 284 VIV 1033 1545 Vivian, LA, USA 20 06:31 284 PQN 1045 1040 1064 PIPESTONE, MN, USA 20 05:27 330 PWC 1037 1126 PINE RIVER, MN, USA 20 05:36 332 BVN 1045 1027 ALABY, NE, USA 20 07:27 337 FF 1055 1050 Fergus Falls, MN, USA 20 05:39 350 VTR 1022 1888 McGrath, ALS (Steve R, USA - ndblist 20/11/2007) 20 1722 525 PL St.Petersburg/Pulkovo RUS 1391 17 1620 615 OM Gorm Platform XOE 881 17 1627 617 SV Stebliv UKR 1145 20 1750 635 VX Minsk 2 BLR 941 18 1745 650 O Lviv UKR 632 20 1753 670 LB Liubymivka UKR 1566 20 1602 715 F Caslav CZE 89 20 1605 718 SL Solovivka UKR 1022 18 1753 732 KP Kamenets UKR 854 17 1639 733 V Kiev/Zhuliany UKR 1083 17 1558 735 KW Koviahy UKR 1449 20 1610 740 KB St.Petersburg/Siverskij RUS 1347 new 17 1600 778 GR Krasnohrad UKR 1455 20 1627 815 PW Pavlivka UKR 1633 17 1551 825 KB Kiev/Boryspil UKR 1112 17 1546 830 SW Shepetivka UKR 844 17 1540 840 KR Kaliningrad/Khrabrovo KAL 595 20 1633 897 AO UNID ID 2" gap XUE new 20 1637 905 PA Parutyne UKR 1306 20 1641 910 GE Helmiaziv UKR 1190 20 1644 940 UD Chudovo RUS 1403 17 1631 960 CY Chervonyi UKR 1153 20 1553 985 FK Gagarin RUS 1427 20 1656 1080 AR Buzharovo RUS 1546 20 1658 1083 AU Auly UKR 1410 20 1702 1155 LS Krasnyi Luch UKR 1738 17 1603 1285 SW Savelovo RUS 1594 17 1605 1290 TU Bely RUS 1309 17 1606 1290 BO Bohdanivka UKR 1109 18 1717 1720 OKN Kandahar AFG 4646 (Zdenek Elias, Jablonec, Чехия - ndblist 20/11/2007) 1951 PK 432 +1030 CZE 5 1956 GR 434 -400+400 RUS 4 KO69 SEND TWICE GAP (G0FYD - ndblist 21/11/2007) 19 21:59 390 LV 390.400 1231 Y Arvika, SWE 19 21:52 392 RAN 392.405 2022 Lappeenranta, FIN 19 21:53 392 GDY 392.411 1587 Mariehamn/Godby, FIN 19 19:41 394 NB 394.393 1439 Bromma, SWE 19 19:24 394 JOK 394.409 1845 Kauhajoki, FIN 19 19:20 395 LAY 394.610 697 Islay, SCT 19 19:16 395 GE 395.409 776 Y Billund, DNK 19 17:50 396 YG 395.600 1142 Rygge/Enge, NOR (Peter Conway, Hastings, U.K. - ndblist 21/11/2007) Also new is a Quantum QX Loop v2.0 that Gerry tuned for use on LW for me. It took a bit longer than anticipated to get this online since the fine delivery people managed to damage it in a way Gerry has never seen before. He got it fixed right up for me and it's what I've been using since the 14th. All the Navtex plus only my second beacon from Missouri were received with the new antenna. Even though we've had a few weeks of decent weather here, it looks like storms are on the horizon for the CLE. It is not the DX Antwerp club that made the logs but I did as a member of this club. Most of the other members were busy to log broadcast stations our utility stations, HFDL, ALE and such modes. Is it possible to change it to my name please. I'm the only one who put is logs to the Reu list. It's a pity actually that no more members listen to the NBD's. There were almost no signals east of Saskatchewan but excellent signals from the S-E and Texas in particular, no doubt due to the mild auroral conditions from the recent coronal-hole stream. Several new catches and the interesting conditions kept me at it until 0100 local time when some very strong signals from Alaska were coming through...but, staying up so late meant no pre-sunrise check of Alaska for anything new. 11 13 0705 382 CR Chorpus Christi, TX EL17 11 13 0710 385 CPZ La Pryor, TX DL98 11 13 0725 245 ANR Andrews, TX DM82 11 13 0730 251 MNZ Hamilton, TX EM01 11 13 0758 329 OWU Woodward, OK EM06 11 13 0808 344 GNC Seminole, TX DM82 11 13 0815 359 SDR Snyder, TX DM92 11 13 0832 402 IFJ Winfield, LA EM31 11 13 0846 281 FFZ Mesa, AZ DM43 (ve7sl - ndblist 21/11/2007) 19.11.2007 0054 321,00 C UNID 0 XUU 1) 19.11.2007 0057 325,00 WD Gumrak 1020+ RUS 19.11.2007 0100 327,00 POR Porto -1020 POR 19.11.2007 0019 328,00 HIG San Sebastian 1020+ E 19.11.2007 0058 329,00 M UNID 0 ? 19.11.2007 0059 330,00 T UNID 1020+ ? 19.11.2007 0100 343,00 KUS Kaunas/Karmelava -1020 LTU 17.11.2007 1720 350,00 BLA Biella/Cerrione -1020 I 19.11.2007 0056 350,00 UK Yukhnov 400+ RUS 19.11.2007 2141 350,00 VK UNID +400 XUU 2) 19.11.2007 0056 350,50 ROT Rotterdam 400 HOL 19.11.2007 0102 359,00 LOR Lorient/Lann Bihoue 0 F 19.11.2007 0057 360,00 BD Bogdanovo -1020 RUS 19.11.2007 0102 372,00 CSM Castelsarrasin-Moissac0 F 19.11.2007 0058 385,00 AVN Vilnius -1020 LTU 17.11.2007 1725 407,00 PN Palanga -1020 LTU 19.11.2007 0105 408,00 TSR Timisoara/Giarmata 1020+ ROU 18.11.2007 2205 410,00 C La Coruna -1020 E new 19.11.2007 0110 412,00 GRN Gerona 1020+ E 19.11.2007 0107 417,00 ACD Alcobendas 1020+ E 17.11.2007 1711 421,00 SAL Zadar/Sali 1020+ HRV 19.11.2007 0021 434,00 A Baneasa East -1020+ ROU 21.11.2007 1743 600,00 KR Krasnoborka -1020 UKR 21.11.2007 1657 732,00 KP Kamianetsk/Podilskiy 1020+ UKR 21.11.2007 1719 905,00 PA Parutyne -1020 UKR new 1) 321.025 Cycle not caught due to strong HA Hannover. Initially reply on a confirmation was within a 24 hours period. v/s: Nanci Hersh (Edward Kusalik-Alberta,CANADA - CumbreDX 21/11/2007) -- Аппаратура 73! |
