Landor Associates redesigned the classic Sweedish seafood brand Abba. The task was to reinvigorate the brands identity and packaging while respecting the heritage and equity built over more than 160 years. Landor repositioned Abba from a brand used only on infrequent festive occasions to one available for spontaneous everyday eating. Simultaneously, Landor modernized the brand's look while maintaining the positive Swedish associations inherent in the brands heritage and equity. The new design builds on Abbas reputation for seafood expertise and quality, and adds new dimensions of freshness, energy, and vitality.
