Russian President Vladimir Putin and his French and Croatian counterparts Emmanuel Macron and Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic met with the 2018 World Cup finalists after their decisive clash, in Moscow on Sunday.
The state leaders, accompanied by FIFA President Gianni Infantino, met with the World Cup winners as they were celebrating their victory in the team locker room.
The France team were seen jumping for joy, chanting and singing, while the Croatia team kept a low profile.
France were crowned winners of the 2018 World Cup at Moscow's Luzhniki Stadium on Sunday, after beating Croatia 4-2 in the final clash. France has now taken the title of the World Cup Champions for the second time in tournament's history, with the first being on home soil in 1998.

Former Danish goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel slammed Argentine referee Nestor Pitana for «ruining» the final match at the 2018 World Cup by awarding France a VAR-reviewed penalty in the first half of the game against Croatia, when speaking in Moscow on Sunday.
Schmeichel called the referee's decision «crazy» and «it was not a penalty,» adding that «in a World Cup final it's a big moment, and I think the referee stole that moment.»
Schmeichel stressed. «I think that Croatia did not deserve it [the penalty], claiming that it «deflated» the spirit of the team.
Croatia's Mario Mandzukic accidentally scored the first goal for France after the ball skimmed his head and into the net. Then a controversial VAR-awarded penalty taken by Antoine Griezmann gave France a 2-0 lead against Croatia.
Paul Pogba and Kylian Mbappe scored the third and fourth goals for France during the second half and sealed France’s destiny as the world champion.
Ivan Perisic scored for Croatia during the first half-time and a mistake made by French goalkeeper Lloris gave Mario Mandzukic the chance to score Croatia’s second goal.

Muscovites shared their impressions on the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Moscow on Monday.
One of the locals said that the Russian people demonstrated that they are a “good nation” and “can communicate with everyone.” He added that with the World Cup Russia has “completely removed the label” of an unfriendly nation.
A visitor from St. Petersburg mentioned that foreigners “have become more responsive” and “started considering Russia as a greater country.”
“For Russia as a country is was a political moment. Many political leaders visited [Russia] though we have some difficulties in relations. It was significant for our country,” another Muscovite said.
The FIFA World Cup 2018 was held in 11 Russian cities from June 14 to July 15.

A crop formation of the World Cup with the name of the champion, ‘France,’ written on it as well as the inscription ‘FIFA World Cup 2018 Russia,’ was captured by drone footage in the Castagnaro commune, near Verona, northern Italy, on Monday.
Italian 'land artist' Dario Gambarin used a tractor, plow and rotary harrow to create the massive image. The formation was carved to celebrate the FIFA World Cup held in Russia from June 14 to July 15.
Gambarin previously forged an enormous picture of Vladimir Putin and is generally known for using land art as a portrait medium for various influential figures, including Barack Obama, Pope Francis, Nelson Mandela, and current US President Donald Trump.
