Uruguayan fans gathered in Montevideo to watch their national team face France on Friday.
A massive crowd cheered for their squad as this ended up losing 2-0 against Les Bleus and exiting the World Cup.
Earlier today, France beat Uruguay 2-0 at the Nizhny Novgorod stadium and booked the ticket to the World Cup semi-final where they will face Belgium.
France will play against Belgium in semi-finals on July 10.

Former Denmark and Manchester United goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel, speaking in Sochi shortly after Belgium’s victory over Brazil on Friday, gave his insight into what had determined the outcome of the showdown.
Schmeichel appeared to be not surprised that Belgium came out on top noting that it is a “proper football team,” which kept up a high-quality game throughout the match.
“It is well-constructed, well-setup team,” he added.
Besides that, he noted, that the Belgian team could also boast of “individual players” who were able to change the pace of the game.
Schmeichel went on to laud midfielder Marouane Fellaini saying he “was incredible.”
“He’s big, awkward, he can run, a lot of people, they look at Fellaini and they see something different or someone they can’t believe that he’s like that, but technically he’s very good,” said the goalkeeper.
Speaking about Brazil’s unfortunate performance, he noted that “Brazil played better today than I’ve seen them in the whole tournament, but ironically they go out on that performance.”
From Schmeichel’s perspective, the team failed to recover after an own goal.
The Danish goalkeeper also pointed to Neymar’s lack of impact in the game saying “he was not the dominating figure in this team tonight.”

Middle Eastern spices, Arabic calligraphy, national clothes and even a falcon were presented to the audience.

A Kyrgyz fan of Belgian goalkeeper Simon Mignolet recounted his meeting with the legendary footballer and how he felt getting his jersey from him, during an interview in Bishkek on Saturday.
The story began when Arsen, who came to Kazan to watch Belgium face off with Brazil, suddenly came up with an idea to make a poster asking Mignolet to give him his jersey. Arsen wrote “Mignolet, can I have u’r T-shirt?” on the poster.
The famous goalkeeper spotted it when leaving the field, and then tweeted searching for the fan who carried it.
Arsen could hardly believe what came next. “I woke up to the shouts of my parents. Mom runs into the room and says — Arsen, look what happened. She shows me the phone, and there is a screenshot of the Mignolet’s twitter,” he said.
“In 15 minutes, they started writing to me on Instagram, started ringing, like what happened, tell me, or, Mignolet is looking for you, respond,” Arsen continued.
Mignolet invited Arsen to meet in the hotel where he was staying, and awarded Arsen with the desired jersey.
