По прогнозам синоптиков, жарко и очень дождливо будет в Москве 15 июля, в день финала чемпионата мира по футболу. Специалисты центра погоды «Фобос» обещают днем не ниже +29 градусов, что на пять−шесть градусов выше средних многолетних значений. Финальный матч мундиаля между сборными Франции и Хорватии начнется в 18:00 на стадионе «Лужники». И к этому времени в городе воздух станет более свежим. Температура опустится до +18 градусов. FIFA President Gianni Infantino praised the World Cup and expressed gratitude to everybody involved in its organisation, during a press conference in Moscow on Friday.
«Since couple of years I was saying that this would be the best World Cup ever,» Infantino said, before continuing to praise the tournament, saying «today I can say it with even more conviction because I lived it and you lived it. It is the best World Cup ever.»
The FIFA official expressed his gratitude to the organizers and participants of the tournament, the Russian government, President Vladimir Putin, and the Russian people: «The Russians, the Russian people, a big, big thank you to Russia. Spasibo, Rossiya.»

President of UEFA Aleksander Ceferin said that the World Cup far exceeded his expectations while speaking in an interview with Danish goalkeeping legend Peter Schmeichel in Moscow on Friday.
“I knew the World Cup will be organized well but I am still positively surprised,” Ceferin told Schmeichel.
The high-profile sport official went on to say that he was impressed by “the level of peacefulness,” clarifying that he did not notice any aggression or meet any extreme fans.
“Even police started to smile. They do not smile anywhere in the World,” he noted ironically.
Besides the organizational issues of the tournament, Ceferin talked about the reasons behind the dominance of European football teams in the final stages of the current championship, as well as the next World Cup in Qatar and the VAR system.
Ceferin made his own predictions about the outcome of an upcoming final game on Sunday, saying that he would not be surprised if Croatia came out on top.
“I think they showed so much heart, they showed so much passion, so much fighting spirit that I would not say they cannot win on Sunday,” he explained.

Meixiang said the idea came to him due to the current popularity of the World Cup, and as the shape of the fruit «looks like the upside-down trophy.»

In an interview filmed in the Russian capital on Friday, Madali Isabekov told his remarkable story.
One day Madali and his father Mayrambek decided to grab a meal at McDonald's in Astana. «That was just a usual day off, we decided to eat out with the family at the McDonald's restaurant, they handed us the coupon, registered and we successfully forgot about it,» recalled the father.
Not thinking anything of it, the family continued on with their lives until they received a call from the McDonald's Player Escort programme.
The lucky boy had just won the right to escort a football star onto the pitch at the FIFA World Cup 2018 Final in Moscow.
As a keen football fan, Madali seemed delighted by the prospect. «When I grow up I want to be like Paul Pogba, because he is a strong player,» he said.
