Футболисты, увидев на табло счет 0:0, точно бы огорчились, а вот парашютисты, наоборот, не скрывают радости. В их спорте эти цифры значат, что атлет показал наилучший результат, попав точно в цель.
Спортсмены прыгают с высоты 1100 метров, их задача — попасть в мишень, диаметр которой — всего два сантиметра. Если попытка удалась, электронная система сообщает о результате специальным звуковым сигналом.
На Средний Урал приехали сильнейшие парашютисты страны. В Логиново открылись всероссийский турнир «Европа-Азия» и Кубок Владимира Гмызина.
Людмила Зельдина, главный судья Всероссийских соревнований по парашютному спорту на точность приземления «Европа — Азия» и Кубка В. Д. Гмызина: «Этим соревнованиям 23 года, ни разу не было перерыва. Участников в этом году 73 — достаточно большое количество для парашютного спорта».
Залог успеха, по словам спортсменов, — годы тренировок. Впрочем, Егор Никифоров убежден: на результат влияет не только техника выполнения прыжка, но и сам парашют:
«Большие обеспечивают приземление в определенных режимах, то есть нужно рассчитать прыжок в определенной точке, потом парашютирование, встаем против ветра и приходим точно в ноль».
А вот для Анны Макарчевой главное — справиться с волнением. Впрочем, прыжки с парашютом для девушки уже давно занятие будничное. Первый раз в свободное падение отправилась в 15 лет, последовала примеру старшего брата:
«Первые раз 40 страшно, потом привыкаешь».
Первым приземлиться точно в цель удалось Евгению Иванову. Парашютист представляет авиационно-спортивный клуб «Высота» села Уват Тюменской области. На его счету уже 2600 прыжков.
Евгений Иванов, участник Всероссийских соревнований по парашютному спорту на точность приземления «Европа — Азия» и Кубка В. Д. Гмызина: «Мы подсознательно знаем, что в центре этого блинчика находится желтая точка, в которую надо попасть, и при приближении она все больше и больше. Тренировки и плюс моральное и психологическое состояние, надо себя подводить к этому, тем более на соревнованиях хочется показать максимальный результат, не только за себя, еще и в команде».
Финал соревнований состоится в субботу, 7 июля. За главный приз поборются десять лучших парашютистов. Понтон с заветной мишенью установят на акватории Городского пруда в Екатеринбурге.

Russian politicians and artists held a friendly match with representatives from Qatar at the Red Square in Moscow on Thursday.
Minister of Energy Alexander Novak and the Chairman of the Organising Committee Russia-2018 Arkady Dvorkovich were among the participants of the event.
«Today's event emphasizes, once again, that we have a very great potential in this direction after seeing these happy faces. The next World Cup will be held in Qatar so we are passing the baton and we think that the same holiday will be in Qatar in 2022,» Novak said.
«Qatar is studying with us, it goes everywhere with us. We gladly pass on our experience. Because we want this to be a holiday wherever the championship goes», stated Dvorkovich.
Qatari Ambassador to Russia Khaled Al-Attiyah was among the participants as well. In his opinion, «the players are all excited to come here and play today. And celebrate this occasion.»
The 2018 World Cup is held in Russia from June 14 to July 15. In 2022, Qatar will be the World Cup host.

Thousands of fans welcomed the Colombian football team back to Bogota, after being eliminated from the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
Fans created a human corridor along one of the main roads of the city until El Campin Stadium, where a crowd of over 25.000 people received the Colombian squad amid chants, applaud and music.
Some fans even jumped into the pitch trying to hug their football idols, with security officers rapidly intervening to contain the enthusiasm.
«Good afternoon Colombia, the truth is that this welcome exceeds all the expectations we had. We couldn't make it in the World Cup, we were very motivated, but this group of players has given everything, has given until the last drop of sweat to represent the entire country», said player Falcao to the multitude.
