There has been determined the competence of customs bodies authorized in performance of customs operations in respect of goods arriving to the RF Customs territory by sea (river) transport
By
the Order of the Federal Customs Service of Russia N 1691 of
September 15, 2009 (document is in Russian), it is established
that customs bodies, in competence of which are sea (river)
cross-points through the state boarder of the Russian Federation,
as well as ports opened for call of foreign vessels and ports
opened for international traffic, in respect of goods arriving
to the RF Customs territory by sea (river) transport, have the
competence to perform only the customs operations not connected
with placing this goods under the customs procedure of internal
customs transit except cases specified in
the annex N 1 to the Order.
The Order has been registered to the RF Ministry of Justice
with N 14992 as on October 9, 2009 and shall putt into effect
since March 1, 2010.
