There has been changed the ecological classification of automobile vehicles and internal-combustion engines depending on dangerous pollutants emission level 2009-12-04 06:00 NEWS OF THE FEDERAL LEGISLATION There has been changed the ecological classification of automobile vehicles and internal-combustion engines depending on dangerous pollutants emission level By the Decree of the RF Government N 956 of November 26, 2009 (document is in Russian), the amendments are putted to the Decree of the RF Government N 609 "On approval of the special technical regulations "On requirements to emissions of dangerous pollutants by automobile vehicles released for circulation at the Russian Federation territory" of October 12, 2005. In particular, the amendments have specified the objects, in respect of which the technical regulations is provided, as well as the technical requirements and division of objects of regulation to ecological classes. Now as objects of regulation, there are the automobile vehicles and the internal-combustion engines intending for fitting in automobile vehicles of M category with maximum mass more than 3,5 t, M, M, N, N categories, released for circulation at the Russian Federation territory, with several withdrawals. Besides, the amendments have determined the period of validity for approvals of transport vehicle kind and certificates of compliance. The Decree of the RF Government N 956 of November 26, 2009 (document is in Russian) shall put into effect upon expiration of one month from the day of its official publication (has been published in the "Russian Newspaper" N 228, of December 1, 2009).
