There is approved the provisions of the Council at the President of the Russian Federation for development of physical culture and sport, sport of highest achievements, preparation and carrying out of XXII winter Olympic games
The Edict of the President of the Russian Federation N 1308
of September 26, 2007 (document is in Russian) approves
the provisions on the Council at the President of the Russian
Federation for development of physical culture and sport, sport
of highest achievements, preparation and carrying out of XXII
winter Olympic games and XI winter Paraolympic games 2014 in
Sochi. This Council is advisory body at President of the Russian
Federation and has been created in purposes of ensuring of interaction
between federal bodies of state power, bodies of power of subjects
of the Russian Federation, bodies of local self-government of
municipal formations, public associations, sport associations
and institutions, other institutions under consideration of
questions concerning development and realization of state policy
in the sphere of physical culture and sport, sport of highest
achievements, as well as preparation and carrying out of XXII
winter Olympic games and XI winter Paraolympic games 2014 in
Sochi.
