NEWS OF THE FEDERAL LEGISLATION The Act on tax amnesty is putted into effect from March 1, 2007       The Federal Act N 269-FZ "On simplified procedure for declaring of incomes by natural persons" of December 30, 2006 (document is in Russian) establishes that from March 1, 2007 and till January 1, 2008, any citizen may to apply on his incomes received before January 1, 2006 without submission of documents on kinds and sources of incomes, and to transfer declaration payment in the size of 13 percent from announced sum through a bank to bodies of territorial treasury. After that, duty of citizen on payment of the tax on incomes of natural persons from announced incomes and submission of declaration on this tax shall be considered to be executed.             Transfer of declaration payment by entrepreneurs and other persons performing private practice shall exempt them from payment of the uniform social tax on announced incomes, and submission of according tax declaration on the uniform social tax.            This Federal Act shall not be applied to persons convicted for offences provided by article 198 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (document is in Russian), if convictions was not putted off.               Besides, the Federal Act N 265-FZ of December 30, 2006 (document is in Russian) makes amendments to articles 45 and 80 of part one of the Tax Code of the Russian Federation (document is in Russian) and article 57 of the Budgetary Code of the Russian Federation (document is in Russian). This Federal Act is directed to making according amendments to the legislation on taxes and duties and to the budget legislation.
