Цель - попробовать сваять агента для для доступа через веб к зашифрованным документам, используя связку SSJS>LSAgent
Здравствуйте. Нужна помощь (сразу скажу что только начинаю осваивать Lotus Script). Есть архивная база (все документы лежат в отдельных папках), нужно из одной конкретной папки взять все документы 2008 года (есть соотв. поле дата) и перенести в...
а проблема решилась так :)

кстати, тоже уже была идея поставить жаббер и нормальный клиент, а не это поделие
но сказали, что должно стоять это и надо интеграцию и прочее, чтобы пользователь не вводил пароли постоянно

Idea:
Preferences - Basic Notes Client Configuration - Additional Options list.  It is a major pain to find any particular option in this list.  Even worse when you try to guide a user to find an option.  There are 43 items in this list as of Notes 8.5.2.  The list should be numbered so each preference can be referenced by number making them easier to find.
 
Also see the linked idea about context-sensitive help so users can get help on these options.

Idea:
You used to be able to switch to the same location currently in use.  This was handy because if you switched ID files (without switching locations) you could easily switch back by just reselecting your location.  (be sure to have the ID assigned in the location doc.)  However, with the locations moved to the modal dialog box, they also made the current location unselectable, so you have to first switch to a different location, then switch back.  Not a big deal for most people, but for people who switch to other IDs often (like admins, helpdesks and devs) it does matter.
 
This would be a bug but that it was changed intentionally.

Idea:
First, add a context (right click) menu for dialog boxes.  Then add an entry for context-sensitive help to the context menu, (i.e. "What's this?")   There used to be a tiny question mark in the top of all dialogs that could be clicked on for help.  That is gone.  You can still press F1, but there are no visual cues to know to press F1, you cannot click on the help menu in the main window while the dialog box is open and for mouse-driven users, they have no option to get help. 
 
This also goes back to my old, well-received-by-everyone-but-IBM posting:  ELIMINATE MODAL DIALOG BOXES.  See the linked idea.
