It's not very often I get a chance to take a photo of the four generations of Howlett ladies, but my Nana turned 90 years old on Saturday and we had a party to celebrate.

In age order we have my daughter, my wife, my mother and my grandmother. Their initials just happen to be M, K, M and K. Maybe there's even another Howlett lady inside Karen. Who knows.

Idea:
There are numerous places where we have a drop-down choice to fill in a field with a server name when doing Domino Admin (i.e. Instant Messaging Server fiels on person document or Archiving Destination server on Archive Policty Setting document).  For some of them, the dropdown only shows servers in the domain, others show the whole directory.  If the only valid choice is a server, can we please show just the list of domain servers for all of these fields?  I don't know how many times I've accidently choosen the "server Stats" mailin DB instead of the server because it comes first alphabetically.

Idea:
It would be reallt cool if we could have a "one-Click" way of setting an administrative assistant for a mail file which would include not only mail processing, calendar processing, contacts processing, but also out-of-office settings.  I don't know how many times I've had calls where a boss has left the office without setting the out-of-office agent and then I have to go in and fix.

Idea:
Add a feature for the Sametime client that lets the user schedule when it starts/turns on, and more importantly, schedule when it shuts down/turns off.
 
For scheduling start up, the benefit would be to help ensure you activate Sametime in the morning, in case you forget to launch it.
 
For scheduling shut down, the benefit would be preventing people from contacting you near the end of work day, when you may be trying to wrap things up.

Idea:
OK, this one might be hard to explain, but if you've ever worked with tables in Adobe Dreamweaver, there is a nifty "expanded" view.  It basically makes the edges of 0px bordered tables larger, just for viewing purposes.
I think something like that would be most handy in the design tab of the DDE XPages editor.  I find that nesting panels and repeat controls gets ugly quickly.  Sure I am just learning XPages, but something like this rather than flipping into the Source would be handy.

Idea:
It seems like I need an alternative to the dojo rich text control to allow me to display the contents of rich text fields on an XPage when I dont actually need to edit the content.  e.g. Within a repeat control I might like to display the contents of a rich text field for each and every document in a collection.  Perhaps pass the rich text into HTML and then allow me to display the HTML much like pass-thru HTML in Notes Classic.

You remove a check mark from one of the calendars listed under "Show Calendar", or you remove the calendar. When you close and reopen the mail file you find that the check mark is back or the calendar is no longer removed. Only one calendar is affected. You are able to uncheck and remove other calendars.
The purpose of this collection is to provide links to a select group of documents and resources that educate readers on the items and issues to take into consideration when using the Lotus Domino 8.5 XPages feature.
A mail file is upgraded from R7/R8.0.x to R8.5.x and when the user tries to delete a calendar entry they receive the error: "Type mismatch on external name: CSEVENTNOTES".
