Система компьютерной алгебры GAP: 8th International Algebraic Conference in Ukraine



First Announcement

The 8th International Algebraic Conference in Ukraine dedicated to the
60th anniversary of Professor Vitaliy Mikhaylovich Usenko will take place
on July 5-12, 2011 in Luhansk. The Conference is organized jointly by
Institute of Mathematics of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Kyiv
Taras Shevchenko National University, Francisk Skorina Gomel State
University, Slavyansk State Pedagogical University and Luhansk Taras
Shevchenko National University.

Chairman of the Organizing committee of the conference is S. V. Savchenko.

The vice-chairman is I. A. Mikhaylova.

Members of Organizing committee are S. M. Chuyko, Yu.M. Arlinskii, Ya.M.
Dymarskii, A.V. Revenko, A.V. Zhuchok, Yu.V. Zhuchok, V.V. Shvyrov

Cochairmen of the Program committee are Yu. A. Drozd and V. V. Kirichenko.

The conference will include the following topical sections:

1. Algebraic Aspects of the Theory of Differential Equations
2. Algebraic Geometry and Topology
3. Analytic and Algebraic Theory of Numbers
4. Computer Algebra and Discrete Mathematics
5. Groups and Algebraic Dynamics
6. Rings and Modules
7. Representations and Linear algebra
8. Semigroups and Algebraic Systems

We plan plenary talks (45 min), section talks (25 min) and short
communications (15 min).

The official languages of the conference are Ukrainian, Russian and
English.

Persons interested in participating in the conference are kindly asked to
register by e-mail as well as to send one page abstract in English, which
should be prepared in LaTeX, till April 1, 2011.

The registration fee is 100 EURO (for accompanying persons 50 EURO). The
registration fee for Ukrainian citizens is 300 UAH (150 UAH for
accompanying persons, students, postgraduate students). The registration
fee is to be paid upon arrival in Luhansk. The fee covers organization
costs: abstracts, coffee-breaks and cultural program

We regret that travel and daily expenses cannot be paid by the Organizing
Committee.
