Система компьютерной алгебры GAP - Special Issue of AMAI
Call for Papers:
Submissions are being solicited for a special issue of the journal Annals of Mathematics and Artificial Intelligence in honour of Jacques Calmet on the topic of "Applicable Algebra and Artificial Intelligence"
guest edited by Julio Rubio and Werner M. Seiler.
We invite original and high quality submissions addressing all aspects of the relations between Algebra
and Artificial Intelligence, like algebraic methods applied to Artificial Intelligence and Artificial Intelligence techniques used as tools for solving algebraic problems. Here "Algebra" should be understood in a broad sense, including in particular all kinds of algebraic and symbolic manipulations.
The deadline for submission will be September 5th, 2008. Papers that are received earlier will be sent out for
refereeing as soon as they arrive.
The Annals of Mathematics and Artificial Intelligence (AMAI) is an international journal which began publication in 1990 with 12 issues in 3 volumes per year (approximately 1200 journal pages). It features special issues and volumes of fully refereed original research papers, and individually submitted papers. AMAI is now published by Springer Netherlands, (see webpage http://www.springer.com/computer/artificial/journal/10472 for more information).
All submissions are refereed according to usual journal standards. There are no length constraints on papers or numbers of papers in special issues of AMAI; it is the quality and scientific value per page that counts. Extended abstracts or interim reports on work in progress, for example, are NOT suitable.
Authors should submit their manuscripts preferably by e-mail as a postscript or PDF attachment to one of the guest editors:
