There are accepted new Technical rules on milk and dairy production
Within of reform of technical
regulation in Russia with a view of protection of life and health
of citizens, and also the prevention of the actions misleading
consumers, and maintenance of reliability of the information
on the name, structure and consumer properties of milk and dairy
production, by
the Federal Act from June, 12th, 2008 N 88-FZ (document
is in Russian) there are accepted "Technical rules on milk
and dairy production", inuring after six months from the
date of their official publication.
The
Federal Act establishes requirements to safety of milk and dairy
production, including products of a children's feed on a dairy
basis, to safety of processes of their manufacture, storage,
transportation, realization and recycling, and also to terminology,
packing, marks of milk and dairy production, including requirements
to the information on their name, structure and consumer properties.
The Act stipulates, that milk and products of its processing
in case of containing on labels and in documents accompanying
them the information which mismatches names and (or) to
the parameters of identification established by this Federal
Act, or if this information is doubtful, this products are admitted
as forged and are a subject to a compulsory response.
Also
there is established the necessity of obligatory acknowledgement
of conformity of milk and the products of its processing sold
in territory of the Russian Federation to requirements of the
present Federal Act in two forms: declaring of conformity or
obligatory certification. Thus the form of acknowledgement of
conformity and the scheme of acknowledgement of conformity,
the Applicant can choose by himself.
