The amendments are made to the Decrees of the Government of the Russian Federation on questions of activity of the RF Ministry of Public Health and Social Development and the Federal Medical and Biological Agency
In accordance
with
the amendments approved by
the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation N 423
of June 2, 2008 (document is in Russian), the RF Ministry
of Public Health and Social Development is the federal executive
authority making functions on development of the state policy
and normative-legal regulation in the sphere of public health,
social development, labor and protections of consumers rights,
including questions of organization of medical prevention, medical
aid and medical rehabilitation, pharmaceutical activity and
certain other kinds of activity, as well as on rendering state
services and administration with state property in the sphere
of public health and social development, including rendering
of medical aid, development and implementation of contemporary
medical technologies, new methods of diagnostic , carrying out
of medical and social examination and professional training
of medical employees.
The Federal Medical and Biological
Agency of Russia is the federal executive authority making functions
on rendering state services and administration with state property
in the sphere of public health and social development including
rendering of medical aid, organization of medical and social
examination and organization of activity of blood service, functions
on control and supervision in the sphere of blood donation and
its components, on organization of granting of social guaranties
established by the RF legislation for disadvantaged groups of
population, as well as functions of control and supervision
in the sphere of sanitary and epidemiological well-being of
employees of institutions of certain industry branches with
highly dangerous labor conditions and population of certain
territories in accordance with the list approved by the Government
of the Russian Federation.
