There are undertaken steps directed on a cancelling of visa requirements at mutual trips of citizens of Russia and Israel

the order of the RF Government from February, 21st, 2008 N 198-r
(document is in Russian) there are approved presented by the
Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia coordinated with the Ministry
of Internal Affairs of Russia, Ministry of Transport of Russia,
the Ministry of Finance of Russia, Ministry of Defence of Russia,
FSB of Russia, СВР Russia, Federal Migration Service of Russia,
Federal agency on tourism and the State Office of Public Prosecutor
of the Russian Federation
a draft agreement preliminary worked with the Israeli Party
between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government
of the State Israel about refusal of visa requirements at mutual
trips of citizens of the Russian Federation and citizens of
the State. It is entrusted to Ministry of Foreign Affairs of
Russia to carry on negotiations with the Israeli Party and after
achievement of the arrangement to sign on behalf of the Government
of the Russian Federation
the specified Agreement, and also it is authorized to make
the changes which are not having basic character to the project.
The draft agreement provides, that citizens of the state
of one Party, being owners of the valid passports (except for
diplomatic and service passports), entitling crossing of border,
can drive, to leave, follow transit and to stay in territory
of the state of other Party without visas of 90 days during
the period in 180 days, and the citizens, intending to stay
in territory of the state more than 90 days or to carry out
labour or commercial activity in its territory, should receive
the visa according to the legislation of the state of entrance.
