There is approved the new Statute on licensing of auditor's activity
The Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation N 80
of February 16, 2008 (document is in Russian) approves
the Statute determining the procedure for licensing of auditor's
activity made by legal entities and sole traders. Licensing
of such activity shall be provided by the Ministry of Finance
of the Russian Federation. The license for making auditor's
activity is granted for 5 years. Period of validity of the license
may by prolonged under application of the licensee in order
providing for redrawing up of the document confirming availability
of the license. State fee shall be paid for consideration of
applications about granting of the license by licensing body,
as well as for its granting or redrawing up in order and in
sizes established by legislation of the Russian Federation on
taxes and duties.

When receipt of settlement documents by bank, their examination
shall be made in accordance with requirements established

Directions shall be putted into effect upon expiration of
10 days after its official publication in the “News Bulletin
of the Bank of Russia”.
