wrong...

The second question is about some variants without disagreements, but I want
to understand why (what is the rule), no only to memorize tham. They are
above.
It's a lovely place. I "had" a wonderful time here. Too bad I'll have to

soon - why "had" and not "have been having"?
Money makes the world go round - Why without "the"?
She used to hate washing up, but now she likes it.-Why "used to" and not
"was used to"?
