We've all heard of drop-down menus, which are all well and good. What about things you want to appear when needed on the page that aren't part of the site navigation? Use flyouts! This demo shows how. Download and see how the login/admin links on the top right of the page function....
After modifying a database, emailing large groups of users about the update can be a nuisance. This LotusScript agent will help you efficiently keep users abreast of database changes.
Dan Lynch is looking for some help. He's thinking of using the multilingual user interface in Notes for Windows 7 users and would like to know if anyone else has tried the latest language packs.
Mary Beth Raven is looking for your input. Back in Notes 6 and 7 you could open a folder in something that looked like a workspace but the feature was removed in Notes 8. Mary Beth would like to know if you (or your users) miss it enough to have it put back.
There should be a setting to prevent some users to switch to another id. This is to enforce security. On some "end users" there is no need to switch the .id...
Add a way to reference Ideas with a reference #. For example, I would like to reference ideas on a presentation, but don't want to add URLs or even shortened URLs. It would be nice to reference them like you would an IBM technote.
Just as with Commontime's mNotes I would like to be able to select more than one mailfile. This way I can have multiple mailboxes on my mobile device. It should also be possible to only sync the mails and not the calendar entries.
If you have several mail-in databases that are being used by a number of people and everyone can create calendar entries, then I might be interested in the mails that are in the inbox but not the calendar entries.
Now with DAOS in Domino 8.5, whenever I go to "archive" a user's mail file & archive mail file before deleting them from the system, I need to do a create local replica instead of just copying the nsf files at the O/S level, When I do this, it creates an entry in my replicator page (actually up to 6 entries- mail file, archive file, archive log, local nab, jornal, & bookmarks) that I then have to keep deleting. It would be nice to have an option when creating a local replica on wether this is a one-time thing (so no entry on replicator page needed) or a on-going thing (would want the entry made).

When I manually add a Quickr place to the connectors, there is a 100% chance I am adding it to either:
a) add content to it
or
b) edit/read content in it
Therefore it makes reasonable sense to automatically open a place in explorer when I add it manually. Or at least give me a check box as an option. Please!
Over the next few days I am going to
make a series of postings about the OpenNTF IP process. Today's comments
will be on moving projects to the Catalog. Tomorrow I will be discussing

I created today a new project

This took me only a couple of hours (most of this was to write documentation).
It would be great if other people could provide other country ...
In Lotus Domino, when the primary machine in a cluster goes down, the secondary machine's mail.box file fills up with mail that is pending being routed to the first server. The router does not seem to realize it can deliver e-mails locally.
You are running the CFGDOMSVR command, using the *ADD option. The command fails with an error message. "User or server name not found in Domino Directory".
