вопрос по задачам в лотусе , которые To Do
допустим начальство пишет задачи и назначает ответственных , после чего рассылает
к ответственным они приходят и все нормально
но спустя некоторое время распределенные ответственным задачи просто пропадают из списка задач начальства , при этом у подчиненных они остается в листах ToDo
обнаруживалось что вот буквально вчера все было ,а сегодня приходит предложение от подчиненного на перенос сроков выполнения задания , начальство жмет "согласен" а ей пишут что такоей задачи у нее нет ...

из за чего такое может происходить ? клиент Lotus Notes 6.5

дополню, что изначально подумал на удаление случайное самим начальством , но фишка в том что сохранились только нераспределенные по сотрудникам задачи , а вот те , которые были распределены по отвественным - все удалились

при каких случаях задачи могут удалятся из списка задач начальства а у подчиненных оставатся ? (за исключением случая когда начальство удаляет их руками , но это исключено)

Ситуация:
На филиальном сервере создаю документ
при след. репликации он реплицируется на главный
при след. репликации он удалятеся с главного и больше на главном его не будет вообще никогда

ACL у реплик разное, на главном сервере у сервера максимальные права + роли, на филиальном у главного сервера права урезаны по максимуму.
Получается что-то не понятное, филиальный сначала выкладывает документ на реплику главного(потому что он его видит и соответетсвенно ложит и главному)
При последующей репликации филиальный видит на главном свой документ, смотрит что у главного сервера по своей таблице ACL прав не хватает и УДАЛЯЕТ его с главного, при этом получается что таблицу ACL главного сервера он тупо игнорирует???
Как запретить филиальному забирать обратно все документы? (вариант прописать на филиальном сервере максимальные права для главного я пока использовать не хочу)
А схему подключения можно? Лотус сервер инет видит или он в ДМЗ?
А что мешает использовать встроенный алгоритм шифрования в Lotus?
Как называется форма в почтовом шаблоне mail8, которая отвечает за Веб??? Изменить настройки "подписи" в шаблоне, в клиенте все нормально, но как только открываю в браузере, там старые настройки.
Пытался найти сам, но так и не нашел.

Переходим с Exchange на Lotus, все завязано на ПГП, пока всех не переведем это порядка 1000 пользователей от ПГП отказаться не можем.

Sorry about that. I think that must be the longest non-blogging period this site has ever seen.

What happened? Customers and their pesky deadlines, that's what happened.

There I was happily plodding away developing when I'm called to an emergency meeting between me, my customer and their customer (at, of all places, a service station on the M1, midway between all three of us). The matter at hand being how my customer's customer had announced their new product to the their customers the day before we met and they wanted to know why the bit I was working on wasn't in it.

They literally wanted it done yesterday.

Without getting in to what happened, let me just say it wasn't really my fault. If I'm given a deadline I do everything in my power to deliver to it.

That said, I'm the bottom of the pecking order in the chain of command, so it was still my problem. That's why since last Tuesday I've been working flat out trying to deliver, which I did yesterday.

The Rockall philosophy is "Keep the customer happy, whatever the cost!". Happy customers come back for more.

I always try to keep customers happy even if it means swallowing my pride and/or biting my tongue.

The project itself was an interesting (read challenging) one - Notes and reporting! As soon as I heard the two words uttered in the same breath I knew we'd have to get the data out of Notes. What I built was a Flex-based reporting front end with a PHP/MySQL backend. The data is synched by a scheduled PHP script which connects from one server to another (same LAN) using HTTP requests for the data as XML. It can sync ~200,000 documents in about 10 minutes.

Although I didn't learn much from a business perspective (being sporadically overwhelmed with work is all part of the game) I did learn plenty about SQL, Flex and PHP. Some of which I hope to share with you all in due course.

Idea:
Most small businesses use some version of QuickBooks from Intuit as their accounting system.  It is the "SAP of the SMB Market."  There needs to a framework to exchange data between the QuickBooks database and any Domino application.
 
One should be able to charge a meeting in Lotus Notes to an account in QuickBooks, just like one can do today with SAP. 
 
Such functionality would also greatly boost the attraction of the Lotus Foundations server.  In fact, I think this would make Foundations quite a viable option for many small to mid-size accountting and law firms.
