здравствуйте!
советовалось следующее:
файле /etc/mpd.conf
в разделе # other audio outputs
все что там было написано для alsa выкинул и привел секцию к
следующему порядку:

options "dev=dmixer"
device "plug:dmix"
}
все пути к папке с музыкой (сделал символическую ссылку),плейлисту,базе и
т.д. я оставил которые были по умолчанию.
команду на создание базы я забыл,но её тоже выполнял- безрезультатно.
в связи с этим переустановил mpd и...
