On the way to Ottawa from Montreal, my car dies; my clutch went crazy AND I got a flat tire at the same time. …and I made in to Aylmer as well in time to race and catch the racing action; here, Bailin Xie leads Hugh Xie, Tejan Chinnakonda, and Lisa Meyer in the group 2 10k
Youri Juteau leads the main group in the group 1 10k
Mike Garvin in front of Morgane Echardour and Philippe Bergeron in the group 1 10k
The kids are off
Jean Sebastien Bilodeau crashed and messed up his collar bone as well as a few other bones

The 2nd annual SSW Fundraising Drive will be taking place in June. I hope many of you SSW readers and fans will be able to help support this website.
It looks like I’ll be headed to Europe later this summer to train and compete prior to the World Championships. A portion of the funds will support the European travels. I’ll also be putting money towards coaching, equipment, and entry fees. I’ll also be putting some money towards fixing my car which ‘died’ yesterday on the way to the RSO race in Aylmer.
