Hello, my friends! This article is gonna be good for Elementary learners. I'd like to tell you or just remind some useful rule of English grammar. My best friend asked me to write a post about it on my blog. So I'm gonna do it.
You know, in English there are so many really easy rules, but extremely useful ones. And that's great. In the article «Bases of Grammar» I mentioned about it. The rule I'm gonna tell you about is related to it to much extent. And I probably should have added it to that post. But anyway I' gonna tell you about it here and I want you to learn it
«I want you to learn it» it's an interesting sentense's structure, isn't it?=) And it's exactly that rule I wanted to tell you about=)
In English, if you want somebody to do something, you can say, for example:
I want you to read this book.
I'd like your brother to come here.
I want she to go to the party with me tonight.
I want your stuped friend to shut up. =)
He wants me to help him.
She'd like he to sing.
I'd like my son to become an engineer.
I want this World to be more friendly.
That's it. So simple. This rule is called «The objective infinitive complex». It's very useful. It'll help to talk with people more easily.
And I told you before that the infinitive was a very important part of grammar. To find out more about it, just download «Грамматика современного английского языка, Верба Л.Г Верба Г.В.» to your computer, open page 91, read it and then do the exercises in the end of the textbook. Once again, it's very very important;)
Hopefully this post was useful for you. Keep learning English and take care!;)
Привет, друзья! Эта статья прежде всего для тех, кто учит английский язык не так давно. Я бы хотел рассказать Вам о чрезвычайно простом, но в то же время очень полезном моменте английской грамматики.
Hi, guys! When I started learning English I confused set expressions with the words «make and do» very often. These verbs have the same translation, but used in different situations. In this short article I'm gonna tell you about the difference between them and give you very useful expressions with these words.
The most important thing here that the verb «do» has only one translation — делать.
The verb «make» can have different translations like "делать, изготовлять, принимать (решение), заставлять).
The next point is when we're talking about something, that's related to some job which we do with our hands, we should use «make».
In fact, it's pretty difficult sometimes to feel the difference between these two words. There are some most common expressions with them which we should just remember and keep in mind. As usual you'll find them in the Russian part of the article below;)
Здравствуйте, дорогие подписчики и гости блога! В этой статье хотел бы рассказать Вам о классных фразах с глаголами make и do, которые мы, несомненно, часто используем в разговоре. Иногда эти слова создают изрядную путаницу, особенно устойчивые выражения с ними.
Hi guys! This article is gonna be about one of the most popular word in English. The word is «anyway». Native speakers use it very often in their speech. The reason is this word can be used in many different situations.
The main meanings of the word «anyway» are «так или иначе, тем не менее, как бы то ни было, во всяком случае, всё равно и т.п» For example:
I'm so lazy, but anyway I'll do this exercise.
(Мне так лень, но, тем не менее, я сделаю это упражнение)
It's very difficult to explain it to you, but anyway I'll try.
(Очень сложно объяснить тебе это, но, так или иначе, я постараюсь)
I'll help you, my friend, anyways!
(Я помогу тебе, дружище, что бы то ни было!)
I've written «anywayS». It's not a mistake, just it's possible to say «anyways» if you're using «way» in a plural form. In this case, «anyways» means «in any case». Here is one more example:
My brother's stucking in traffic now, but he'll come anyways = My brother's stucking in traffic now, but he'll come in any case.
(Мой брат сейчас стоит в пробке, но он приедет в любом случае)
I hope it's clear.
One more good and useful translation of the word «anyway» is «по крайней мере»:
Yes, you're right! Anyway, I hope you are.
(Да, ты прав! По крайней мере, я надеюсь на это)
She looks awesome in this dress. Anyway for me.
(Она выглядит замечательно в этом платье. По крайней мере для меня)
So, it's a very good word in spoken English. It's widly used in any English speaking country. Try to use it in your speech and you'll get used to this word anyways;)
Приветствую своих подписчиков и гостей блога! В этой статье я расскажу Вам об одном из самых популярных слов в разговорном английском языке, о слове «anyway». Как оно переводится и как его использовать? Давайте разбираться.
