COLLOQUIUM ON HOPF ALGEBRAS, QUANTUM GROUPS AND TENSOR CATEGORIES

FIRST ANNOUNCEMENT

The colloquium is organized by the Faculty of Mathematics, Astronomy
and Physics of the University of Co'rdoba and CONICET (Argentina).
It will be held at "Hotel del Lago", in La Falda, Co'rdoba, from August
31st to September 4th, 2009. It will focus on recent developments in
the areas of Hopf algebras, quantum groups and tensor categories.

This event will be closed by the Conference in Honor of Prof. Hans-
Ju:rgen Schneider, a one-day conference organized on the occasion of
Prof. Schneider's 65th birthday, which will take place on September
5th, 2009 in the city of Co'rdoba, Argentina.
