Our client is a multi billion dollar organisation with a diverse range of business interests and man Our client is a multinational manufacturing organisation with a diversified range of consumer products including food, beverage and packaging materials. Their large plastics manufacturing division is seeking a PVC Product Development Manager to grow their PVC capabilities in the UAE based in Dubai. The client is willing to pay between AED 25,000 and 30,000 per month, as well as a bonus and relocation package for the Product Development Manager - PVC role. The role is based in Dubai and all salaries are tax free. You must be able to live and work in Dubai. Reporting to the Director of Plastics Manufacturing of this large industrial division, you will be working for the PVC compounding plant which manufactures about 25,000 tonnes of PVC compounds per year in Dubai. These compounds are used for a variety of applications like pipes and fittings, flexible and rigid packaging and electrical cables. In this newly developed role, you will drive all product development initiatives from cost analysis and understanding of the availability of additives in the market place, through to managing specifications, quality and testing procedures. Our client is looking for the person to bring creative flair to the role, and welcomes new ideas and initiatives. You will need to interact with customers and key internal staff, as well as be capable of driving projects from concept to delivery. Requirements: Our client is looking for a qualified Polymer Chemist with 10 to 15 years experience in making PVC formulations and compounds with a reputed manufacturing organisation. They are open to the current location of the candidate, as they are willing to relocate the successful person. It is important that you have held a product development role and preferably have management experience, but this is not essential. English speaking skills are critical, as is the ability to work in the U.A.E. All salaries are tax free
