The refinancing rate of the Bank of Russia has been increased
Within the
frameworks of measures of the Bank of Russian directing to decrease
capital outflow level and to curb inflatory tendencies,
the Board of Directors of the Bank of Russia has increased the
refinancing rate and interest rates on transactions made by
the Bank of Russia.
Since November 12, 2008, the Direction
of the Bank of Russia N 2123-U of November 11, 2008 (document
is in Russian) establishes the refinancing rate in the size
of 12% per annum.
The amendments are made to the Customs Tariff of the Russian Federation
The Decree
of the Government of the Russian Federation N 813 of November
7, 2008 (document is in Russian) approves the rates of import
customs duties in respect of ferrous wastes and scrap, certain
kinds of roll stock (commodity position
7204 of the TN VED of Russia) for 9 months. The Decree shall
put into effect upon expiration of 2 months since the day of
its official publication.
Since November 11, 2008, the Decree
of the Government of the Russian Federation N 840 of November
10, 2008 (document is in Russian) approves the rates of import
customs duties in respect of civil aircrafts with quantity of
mounting seats more than for 300 persons (code
8802 40 000 5 of the TN VED of Russia) in the size equal
to zero and for other civil aircrafts (code
8802 40 000 7 of the TN VED of Russia) in the size of 20
percent of customs cost on a permanent base.
