The new rules of transportation of liquids in airplanes shall come into effect from August 28, 2007
The Order of the Ministry of Transport of Russia N 104 of July
25, 2007 (document is in Russian) approves
the Rules of carrying out of preflight and post-flight examinations
establishing the procedure for carrying out of preflight and
post-flight examinations of passengers and luggage, including
things being at passengers, members of aircraft crews, aviation
personnel of civil aviation, board reserves of aircrafts, cargos
and mail, and they are obligatory for execution by employees
of the aviation safety service of airports, administration of
airports, passengers and other persons making their activity
at territories of airports. Preflight examination shall be made
at all internal and international flights.
There is established,
that liquids, gels and aerosols referring to not dangerous must
be transported in containers of capacity not more than 100 ml
(or equivalent capacity in other units measure of volume), packed
in safe closed plastic packet of volume not more than 1 l -
one packet per passenger. Liquids in containers of capacity
more than 100 ml shall not be taken for transportation, even
in the case if container is filled partially. Liquids acquiring
in duty free shops in airports or on board of aircraft must
be packed in safe closed (sealed) plastic packet providing identification
of access to content of packet during flight, on which reliable
confirmation is present that this purchase was made in airport
duty free shops or on board of aircraft at the day (days) of
trip.
