Сегодня прихожу - запускаю бизнесс-процесс, он валится на активности создания документа - пишет "Notes error: You cannot update or delete the document(s) since you are not listed as an allowable Author for this document" При этом и DomDoc и Lotus Workflow был сконфигурирован еще давно и незначительно меняли конфигурацию пару дней назад.
Pull/Push
The photos I mentioned the other week have arrived and now adorn my office wall, as you can see.
Do they look level and equally-spaced to you? They should do, as I used a spirit-level and tape measure to mark the holes out. Normally though I'd "eyeball" it and just place the holes where I thought looked level.
Years and years of DIY have led me to believe, rightly or wrongly, that I have a good eye for a level or for the mid-distance between two points. A useful skill to have at times.
Just how accurate is my "eyeballing" though? Not something I'd ever thought about until (tenuous link about to happen) I saw The Eyeballing Game on kottke.org on Friday. Karen and I then spent a night of marital competitiveness trying to better each others score. Hey, life's crazy when you get married and have kids.
Needless to say I won with my low score of 2.65. Can you better that?
It's worth looking round the rest of the game's author's website if you have chance. Especially if you're in to your DIY (Jerry, I think you'll like it). There's even a page on how to build an igloo.
This LotusScript code shows how to sort a Lotus Notes document collection in ascending order using a specified field (text/date/number) as the key. The code is customizable, so you can easily change it to meet your needs.
The Domino version of Quickr gives a non-customisable homepage of 'My Places'. This is all the Places I have access too and is now 3 pages due to blogs and wikis, and open places, as well as those I have access to. What I want is 'Favourite Places' where I can bookmark the places I want, in the order I want (which is a Domino Websphere feature I believe)
Currently doing this going directly into my team's place which has menu items for the most popular places we use, but extending this approach to users will not be desirable as it is cumbersome and inflexible.
You cannot see the replies heirarchy when in a discussion post in Quickr so you have to go out and in . Either allow display of all replies as per a blog (or an idea) or show the discussion tree of the post when in a post or reply. This would ease navigation through the discussion and allows easier understanding
Quickr does not support tagging. A lot of other products do and it an assumed feature of 'web 2.0' software. So let's have it to help with categorisation, searching etc.
We use the Calendar to schedule our On-Call duties, which last for a week at a time. We would like to be able to schedule an event that lasts for 7 days and then repeats every 4 weeks. Currently, to have a repeating event, the start and end date must be the same.
I would like to have the ability to search across IdeaSpaces category and subcategories. The child (subcategory) should search across all other parent and children, for example, IdeaSpace is equal to Client/Annotations I want to find all other children related to annotations, Web Client/Annotations, Other Client/Annotations. Right now the child only finds all IdeaSpaces related the exact ideaSpace, for example, only returns Client/Annotations.
Small and medium sized companies do not need all of the features in Connections. Nor do they want the headaches of installing and training. IdeaJam and LinkJam are easy to install, easy to train. So.... Create a "Connections Jam" that operates as a phonebook on steroids.
In a clustered environment with servers running Lotus Domino version 8.0 or later, streaming cluster replication (SCR) is implemented to create a low overhead solution for replication. You may find that replicas are not synchronized for various reasons.
IBM/Lotus has prepared a set of LotusScript agents that will update any existing Notes calendar entries, resource reservations, and reservation resource documents to conform to the new Daylight Saving Time (DST) rules for Argentina, for 2008/2009. These agents provide an IT organization flexibility on how to roll out the updates. They will work on Notes 6.x and Notes 7.x template-based databases by default, with optional support for documents created using a Notes 5.x template. The agents are designed to ru
When launched, a mailto: link in the Basic Configuration of Notes 8.0.1 will open an emtpy browser window or throw an error based on the selection of Internet browser in the Location document.
A multi-user Smart Upgrade with SURunAs from 6.5.3 to 8.0.1 will not launch automatically. The SURunAs.exe will be downloaded and, if run manually, will complete successfully.
