when debugging scripts with many iterations of a specific task (e.g. importing data, processing all docs in a view, ...) I often have a situation where I want to debug only if a certain condition is met, e.g. in the import data line a field contains the value xyz. It would be helpful to set a breakpoint and add the condition field1="xyz" to the breakpoint and each time the interpreter hits the breakpoint it evaluates the condition and only if its TRUE, the script is stopped and the debugger pops up.
I've additionally found this in the comments of the linked idea and I think its worth a dedicated entry. There are suggestions on how to do this in the code, but the point is NOT to change the code each time you want to do this
I have no idea where the Edit\Undo function all applies on, but for me this function may be extended to a lot more. For example the deletion of database icons, are workspace tabs/pages.
Especially with Notes 8 it seems very easy/sensitive to delete a set of database icons from the workspace or a workspace 'page'.
Creating a view index from scratch on a very large database (15+ GB) causes enough disk I/O to bring a pretty good-sized server to its knees. It can also cause a database to be very slow/unavailable until the index is built.
The web-based databases we create always seem to have some view that is accessed very infrequently - for example "sales categorized by sales rep then by zip code" - that gets accessed about 1/year - this causes the app to become unavailable until the view index is built (currently the longest view index discard period is 245 days).
I would like to have the option to have these indexes never discarded. Please let me manage my own disk space!
I recently experienced irate users who were unaware that their mails had not been sent due to some ISP issues.
The users were workign remotely and replicated to send mail.
They were upset because Notes never tells the user in an obvious way that their mail has NOT been sent.
You and I know they could check teh replicator page or they might have noticed in the fine print of their inbox lower message bar on the bottom something about mail sending failure but that's not very obvious or in their face.
We have a popup for New Mail, why not a similar one for sening mail?
anyone with alternatives or simple popup code for me to add to mail templates email me.

If a person clicks Save Idea without a tag, the message "Please enter at least one tag for your idea" appears. Could you change the message text to red font so it is more easily seen? I've had a few calls from people who have not seen that message.
For some reason or other, one can only initiate the search by activating the "Go"-button.
I'd like to initiate the search by pressing enter.
The fastest keyboard shortcut I've found is: Type search Query -> Tab -> Enter. Only one more key, but it's annoying that the search doesn't follow de facto search standards.
Don't like to put these on my blog although they canbe frustrating how about a subject called errors where we can post the ones we find in hopes Lotus fixes them to be either more enlightening, humorous or just better?

The period of 3 months from the end to prevent activation of an ID is sometimes annoying.
We often have people who have contract durations of 3 months. When they use their e-mail, a message tells them that their ID is soon outdated.
A setting of this period through a policy would be very useful?
When viewing someone's business card, it would be great to find out more about their work via Connections. If there's no Connections installation, the blackbox facility could be used to link to one or more user-defined web pages with profile-type information.

When @NameLookup is used with an LDAP directory, the mappings in the schema.nsf database on a Lotus Domino server are used to determine which value is returned. This may cause confusion if the fields aren't mapped as expected. The field value returned is not the value expected.

A LotusScript performance issue occurs in Lotus Notes and Domino releases 6.5.6, 7.0.2, and 8.0. The issue is a regression and was not observed in earlier releases running the same LotusScript code. It involves cases in which a List variable is assigned an array of objects. This was additionally observed in cases where the Redim statement is used in a Class definition.

This article discusses how to change an existing IBM® Lotus® Sametime® 6.5.x or 7.x server environment to have a multilanguage environment; note that the multilanguage Lotus Sametime server was not made available until the R8 code stream. The article covers basic information on the languages supported, installation requirements, and the list of files that require developer changes to have a true multilanguage set-up. Illustrated in this article are step-by-step instructions and samples that you can use to make the changes needed in a single-language Lotus Sametime environment to have a multilingual Lotus Sametime server environment without upgrading IBM Lotus Domino®. Steps include copying files, making subform and template changes, and renaming views.

Your file is not supported," if the iCalendar you are importing is not compliant with the iCalendar standard.
