Currently, delegation of Calendar entries, To Do and Contacts within mail file are couple together. We have users requested to have option to allow this to be separated so that users have option to allow anyone to only access their calendar entries to view availability but not Tod Do or contacts entries. By using the mark private, this doesn't allow for more granular delegation to a certain person or group of people.
When I click on 'Retrieve Entire Document' in my replica, make like Nike and just do it. Don't prompt me if I want to do it now via background or next time I replicate. If I clicked on 'Retrieve', I probably want it now. If I'm not connected to the network, schedule it. Otherwise, just do it.
The Replication prompt is redundant, unnecessary and confusing.
Make it more obvious that I'm looking at a truncated document. A Notes user of 13 years and I still sometimes miss the icon in the view and curse trying to open an attachment, which won't open.
I'd like to see some text in the header of the message and a hotspot or a button to just go and get the rest of the document. Much like we now have the 'Show Details' hotspot or the History section.
How can we set the search option to work as Google Search ? For example: To search in domino to all messages that contains the words: world and girl we need to put: "world" and "girl" in Google we just put: world girl.
During the installation of sametime on linux the installer checks where the domino server resists and use this directory information for creationg symbolic links. The result is that links are pointing to somthing like /opt/ibm/lotus/notes/linux/080020/theLink.
This is bad because upgrading the domino server breaks this links and the sametimer server is not runnning anymore. So its better to point to /opt/ibm/lotus/notes/linux/latest/theLink, because the latest directory is anyway available and I think it was introduced to reduce the upgrading problems.

Sometimes, when I go to a server and issue show tasks to see if something is loaded or not, I have to scan through the list and sometimes miss what I'm looking for, especially on servers with alot of tasks (even when wearing my glasses. :)
Why isn't this list alphabetical? Is there any factoid reason that tasks are ordered the way they are?
I know in the admin console that you can sort task names alphabetically, but I'm not always using the admin client. Even in the admin client, why isn't this the default sort order?
The Notes client have paragraph styles which is a good way of formatting text, according to company standards etc. However, they do not work very well (often they change formatting after reopening documents), and they are difficult to publish out to other users in the company.
I would like to see the paragraph styles work better, and that it would be possible to publish them as a policy.
If you counter a meeting invite, the entry disappears until the original chair accepts. This can mean that if you counter an invite, someone else could then invite you for a meeting during the time that you countered the 1st invite with, which can cause a conflict, particularly if the original chair isn't able to respond quickly.
How about if Notes actually put an entry in your calendar for the new time that you proposed? This would mean that you are able to track which meetings you have countered, and others trying to book meetings with you would see the time as unavailable.

I think the title says it all. While I can fudge the install and run Domino on Liux x64, I'd love to be able to get full x64 support and the "unlimited" RAM usage that was added to Windows and AIX 64 bit versions of Domino,

I'm sure there are a lot of great ideas in IdeaJam that deserve my vote, unfortunately I don't know about them because they were created weeks or months ago and may not have gained enough voting traction to appear in the "popular" or "what's hot" views. This will be especially true for new users to an existing and mature IdeaJam.
My idea is to implement an Amazon suggest style feature whereby the system suggests some ideas that I might be inclined to vote on, based on my previous voting behavior (IdeaSpaces, tags) and on what has been promoted/demoted by other users who have voted similarly to me.
I think such a feature would stimulate voting activity and therefore increase the value of the product.

By default every user sees the same design of the Domino directory, including all configuration data and the ugly person documents. There's simply too much information for the end user. He doesn't need to see everybody's home server, public key data or password policy. Some of potentially essential infos are hidden on tabs in a second row (like the company hierarchy).
I wish another design would be displayed to non-admins, just with the people, mail-in and groups views and user friendly forms for example like in the personal address book.
I often browse the unvoted view of IdeaJam ctrl-clicking on ideas to read the description and comments before voting. Then after I voted I have to refresh the whole page to get new unvoted ideas. A simple refresh button doing an ajax refresh of that view would make this quicker.
The purpose of the Activities choice under "Show Calendars" is to display any Todo Items assigned to you in existing Activities (from Lotus Connections).
You install or upgrade your IBM Lotus Domino mail server to version 8.0.2 and the router server task consumes 100% CPU resources when sending return receipts.
Notes downgrade is allowed in the Ubuntu platform. This is not consistent with rpm package behaviors; there is a Notes downgrade restriction with rpm packages. So do not downgrade in ubuntu,it may have risk.
