C library - libc/glibc
для добавления нужной locale, под root'ом выполнить

Очередной вопрос про софт=)
Есть несколько серверов с доступом по фтп но файлы расположены там
беспорядочно а иногда что
то найти надо.

Есть ли прога для индексации файлов фтп сервера?
(можно конечно попробовать использовать lufs и gwhere но вдруг есть
другой вариант.
т.к. у меня пока не работает lufs.
)

Я начал делать как вы сказали - посколько при установке появились
проблемы я решил привести (т.е. привел я здесь почти все - а то письмо
сликом большое для этой рассылки) здесь то что там вывелось

Посколько при установке появились ошибки я проверил каталог /usr/src/redhat/RPMS/i586/
в
поисках пакета lufs-0.9.7-5lc.i586.rpm
Его там не оказалось, потом я проверил остальные каталоги и в каталоге

/usr/src/redhat/BUILD/lufs-0.9.7/ я нашел исходники lufs
Собирать (запускать .configure, make и make install) я их пока не рискнул

Мне непонятно вот что - у меня процессор AMD Athlon XP 2800 а пакет
для i586 - если удастся его поставить и запустить - как это
скажеться на работоспособности??

Хммм... Но ведь этот "крендель" я проделал что б лило обмануть. Иначе он

файлов. Я думаю, что после того, как лило переписал mbr, эти фйлы там не

Мне нужно было для вставки девизов и для выбора случайного эл. адреса из большой
базы. Кстати разрешите пару вопросов по поводу awk:

Текстовый словарь. В сети есть хорошие экземпляры.
Кстати, тут когда-то нехорошо обзывались на StarDict. ИМХО стоящая вещь, словарей
навалом, качество перевода для меня лучше чем в LingvoX

Это опять не будет работать для длинных файлов. Кроме того, строки могут быть

разпределены неравномерно. Лучше уж отнормировать на максимальное значение
$RANDOM -- вроде echo $((RANDOM * maxline/32535))
(это если это максимальное значение равно 32535). А чему оно, кстати, равно?

Да я не собираю... это ответ конфигурационного сценария... А вообще, я
уже нашёл какое-то обновление, на кое указывают в RedHat (у меня FC3).
Да правда, из 3-4 сценариев лишь один успешно завершился... док-и нет
там... Ну, и как следствие, не всё в виртуальной машине работает как

Что-то на вскидку не вижу в чём дело.
Если есть возможость, скачайте патч ядра 2.6.10. Говорят, много ошибок там
пофиксили.
