German Inline Cup Berlin Half Marathon- Report, Results, & Photos The German Inline Cup’s Berlin Half Marathon took place earlier today. New Zealand’s Scott Arlidge (Zepto) and Belgium’s Hilde Goovaerts were the top men’s and women’s finishers. Check out a report from Zepto Skate Team. You can find results/ GIC rankings here. As soon as I get them, I’ll put them up on all the websites that I run. In the meantime, you can check out my pictures. Jesse’s Road Rash From Sunday Poor Jesse Pauley fell while out on a roadskate in Hamilton on Sunday- I think he’s ok though; see Jesse’s Road Rash (Jacky Shu writes ‘Comments from Candy: Mr. Pauley tried to help Jesse clean up but that somehow turned into a wrestling match…‘) and also Candy Wong’s Weekend Potpourri where she talks about many different topics including Jesse’s fall & the RSO Indoor Series #4.

DROID writes ‘Honestly, it was extremely cool to be in the real pro peleton even for a short time. That is really something… getting sucked along at those cruising speeds……. excellent skating, especially Mantia…… very cool to see and experience….. my apetite is more than a bit “wet” to get back to that level after my operation and rehab time‘.

Eric Gee writes ‘The one place where I had some difficulty was in attaching the new tongues. My sewing machine wouldn’t fit in that tight space, so I had to sew the tongue’s on by hand. RRC’s Merida - Early Week One2008-04-09 07:38 peterdoucet Road Rash Chronicles put up a new article on their Mexico trip; see Merida - Early Week One. They wrote ‘Jump to the night skate. The Yucatan team arrived and after our initial stretching torture, we all laced up in our two unique groups and hit the track. It was quite obvious at first that there were egos on the line that first night. We didn’t know these kids (age range 7 - 16) and they most certainly didn’t know us. Attempts at being friendly were pushed aside at first. Before the Yucatan team were going to get all lovey dovey they had to access our skills and make sure that we were not a threat…‘.
