The ACA series of conferences is devoted to promoting all manner of
computer algebra applications, and encouraging the interaction of
developers of computer algebra systems and packages with researchers
and users (including scientists, engineers, educators, etc.). Topics
include, but are not limited to, computer algebra in the sciences,
engineering, medicine, pure and applied mathematics, education and
computer science.
Meeting Format:
The meeting will be run in the standard format where individuals are
invited to organize a special session. Individuals can propose a
special session by contacting the program chairs. All talk
submissions must be directed to an organizer of an appropriate special
session.
Venue:
Ecole de technologie superieure (E'TS), located in downtown Montreal,
specializes in the teaching of applied engineering, as well as in
research. Part of the Universite du Quebec network, E'TS hosts a large
number of groups, chairs, laboratories and research teams. Nearly 800
students pursue Masters or Doctoral studies under the supervision of
the research professors at our University. Significantly, both E'TS
students and researchers are widely known for their practical and
innovative approaches.
An international destination of choice, Montreal is easily accessible
by land, water and air. Downtown Montre'al, where we are located, is a
20-minute drive from the airport.
