FIRST ANNOUNCEMENT

The International Algebraic Conference "Classes of groups, algebras and their applications" dedicated to Professor Leonid A. Shemetkov on the occasion of his seventieth birthday will be held on July 9-11, 2007 in Francisk Scorina Gomel State University. The conference is organized by Francisk Scorina Gomel State University and Mathematics Institute of National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.

Chairman of Organizing Committee of the conference: Rector of Francisk Skorina Gomel State University, Professor A.V. Rogachov.

The vice-chairmen: Head of Mathematics Institute of National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Academician I.V. Gaishun; First vice-rector of Francisk Skorina Gomel State University Yu.I. Kulazhenko; Professor M.V. Selkin.

The members of Organizing Committee: I.V. Bliznets, R.V. Borodich, A.F. Vasilyev (secretary), S.P. Zhogal, V.V. Podgornaya, V.G. Safonov, V.N. Semenchuk, V.O. Lukianenko (technical secretary).

We regret that travel and daily expenses cannot be paid by Organizing Committee.
