Though Russian NDB's are as common as flies in Finland, they are quite rare here. ZG-475 was no exception: a weak signal, barely above the noise floor. There must have been some propagation from the east as a few other were logged as well. This morning I listened for Canada at local sunrise.Only 3 stations were audible: BX-220, QX-280 and DF-350. DDP-391 from PTR was weak. UNID KDR-429 was audible quite early on in the evening. At the time I also heard D-435, Tripoly and GHT-335, Ghat, both from Libya. So LBY might be a possibility. Maybe it can be heard as daytimer from Italy. 17-02-2008 20:20 429.0 KDR 1020 427.973 / 430.028 UNID 17-02-2008 19:36 438.0 PE 1020 437.012 / 439.091 SVK 1228 Poprad/Tatry East 17-02-2008 19:41 440.0 PIA 1020 438.978 / 441.026 ITA 870 Piacenza 17-02-2008 19:46 441.0 CK 1020 439.978 / 442.053 CZE 1002 Prerov 17-02-2008 19:57 444.0 NRD 400 443.602 / 444.401 UNID 17-02-2008 19:55 445.0 KM 1020 443.983 / 446.025 RUS 2313 Kem 17-02-2008 20:08 452.0 ANS 1020 450.957 / 453.008 DEU 556 Ansbach 17-02-2008 21:15 475.0 ZG 1020 473.984 / 476.022 RUS 2508 Petrovskoye NEW 17-02-2008 21:25 477.0 RP 1020 475.979 / 478.026 SVK 1027 Malacky-Kuchyna 17-02-2008 21:37 484.0 HOF 1020 482.964 / 485.038 DEU 590 Hof 17-02-2008 21:57 493.0 KR 1020 491.982 / 494.020 RUS 2706 Krasnodar/Pashkovsky 17-02-2008 22:05 510.0 BL 1020 508.970 / 511.028 UNID (pa0rdt - ndblist 18/02/2008) Another Brazilian fell into the net overnight - SLI-280 San Luis (MA) BRA - Vernon and Vincent had heard this one recently. So sitting on the known offset from 2330 onwards, weak traces of a station were visible around 2345 and just after midnight it became audible - it faded out about 0030. Interestingly again San Luis is located right on the North coast with water virtually all the way. Also this slot from 2330 - 0030 seems very productive at present. Lets hope good conditions last through the CLE this weekend. 21 21:16 283 SF 0.4 1-- (10sec) Torp Sandefjord NOR 915 21 21:26 315 Q +0.4 1-- (4sec) Kajaani FIN 1993 20 08:44 321 ABY 0 1=== (20sec ) Albert Bray FRA 461 19 14:06 321 VO 0.4 1-- (5sec) Vojens Skrydstrup DNK 682 #F# 20 08:47 322 ORS 0 1=== (30sec) Orleans FRA 654 20 08:57 333.5 HRD 0.4 1-- (4sec) Harding XOE 655 21 21:33 351 SAV 0.4 1-- (8sec) Savonlinna FIN 1963 21 21:37 358 MB 0.4 1-- (4.5sec) Camelot Mobil XOE 307 19 21:55 364 NW 0.4 1-- (4sec) Stockholm Skavsta SWE 1225 21 21:45 364 VNA 0.4 1-- (5.5sec) Vanja Umea SWE 1637 21 21:48 365 ODD 0.4 1-- (8sec) Harstad Odden NOR 1873 19 21:56 366 SF 0.4 1-- (3.5sec) Falkoping SWE 1024 19 23:40 384 TY 0.4 1-- (4sec) Torsby Fryklanda SWE 1107 19 23:42 387 SOK 0.4 1--- (10sec) Oslo Sokna NOR 984 19 23:41 390 LV 0.4 1-- (4.5sec) Arvika SWE 1058 19 15:22 404 CNE 0 1== (23sec) Caen/Carpiquet FRA 490 21 21:10 444 NRD 0.4 1-- (5.5sec) (UNID) Nova Ruda, POL? 21 20:59 478 MF 1 2----- (29.5sec) Larionovo RUS 2564 21 20:49 494 NK 1 1-- (4.5sec) Oksywie POL 1251 21 20:43 497 BZ 0.4 1---- (30sec) Bolshaya Murta RSE 5489 #F# 21 20:26 512 NA 1 2--- (15sec) Kostanay Narimanovka KAZ 4115 21 20:36 514.5 LA 1 1-- (8sec) Namest nad Oslavou CZE 1266 21 20:29 515 BU 0.4 1-- (4.5sec) Baku / Bina AZE 4014 21 20:34 525 CH -1 2----- (30sec) Chernyakhov UKR 2026 21 20:32 525 WRW -1 1-- (6sec) Wroclaw Strachowice POL 1226 #F# (g3sia - ndblist 22/02/2008) 15 1810 389 CP -1010 1746kms POR 15 1851 352 WOD +400 298kms ENG 15 2220 421 GE +1020 1484kms ESP 15 2235 382 LAR +1010 1710kms POR 16 2007 360 ASK +380 892kms NOR 16 2013 371 HAA +390 1149kms NOR 16 2025 376 BJA +380 1771kms POR 16 2028 375 OO +400 493kms BEL 16 2035 388 KRU +420 1858kms FIN 16 2124 426 GBG +1020 1533kms AUT 16 2130 429 MNF +1050 1850kma ESP 16 2150 368 FN +370kms 971kms NOR 16 2200 433 JER +1040 1895kms ESP 16 2221 433 CRE -935 1595kms HRV 16 2321 360 SL +1070 1370kms ISL 21 2124 432 PK +1020 1353kms CZE 21 2134 415 OL +400 1271kms SWE 21 2138 412 I +400 1861 kms FIN 21 2141 413.5 DLS -1020 1099kms DEU 21 2207 368 BYC +1020 830kms Y DEU 21 2219 407 PN +1020 1557kms LTU 21 2230 411 M +400 1848kms FIN 21 2238 381 ESP +400 1815kms Y FIN 21 2241 377 SM +400 1305kms SWE 21 2315 404 TOB -1020 1557kms ESP 21 2318 407 SRT +1020 2962kms LBY 22 0003 348 HL +1020 1458kms Y ISL 22 0014 402 SAR +1025 1888kms Y SAR (IO83LS - ndblist 22/02/2008) 2008-02-21 01:36 360 ASN 1006 7657 Ascension Island, SHN 2008-02-21 01:35 372 OZN 400 2101 Prins Christian Sund / Kitaa, GRL 2008-02-21 01:35 371 STR 1020 4407 Sintra, POR 2008-02-21 01:32 389 CP 1020 4433 Lisboa / Caparica, POR 2008-02-21 01:30 401 COA 1025 4280 Coruna, ESP 2008-02-21 01:23 420 PI 1020 2945 Pico, POR 2008-02-21 01:20 428 GC 1026 2949 Graciosa, POR 2008-02-21 01:19 428 MNF 1051 4787 Moron De La Frontera, ESP 2008-02-21 01:18 433 JER 1030 4774 Jerez, ESP (Vernon M, Canada - ndblist 22/02/2008) 21.02.2008 19:35 475 ZG 2321 Y LO01cr Petrovskoye, RUS 21.02.2008 20:45 306.5 1440 Y JN88kd Bad-Deutsch Altenburg, AUT (Tjærand S.Bauge, Karmøy Isl, Norway - ndblist 22/02/2008) 21 355.0 ONW 2145 Antwerpen Deurne BEL 259km 21 356.0 SGO 2146 Sagunto ESP 1099km 21 358.0 GRK 2146 Trondheim Grakallen NOR 1632km 21 423.0 FE 2148 Odense Beldringe DNK 880km 21 427.0 HDY 2149 Haldon Maersk platform XOE 704km 21 429.0 SSD 2152 Stansted ENG 305km 21 428.0 MNF 2153 Moron ESP 1482km 21 432.0 G 2154 Amari EST 1787km 21 341.0 POR 2202 Pori FIN 1810km 21 344.0 HEK 2204 Heka FIN 1901km 21 379.0 REK 2206 Reksten NOR 1359km 21 380.0 FLR 2207 Trondheim Flornes NOR 1657km 21 386.0 LK 2210 Tallinn EST 1831km 21 389.0 MR 2212 Myra NOR 1192km 21 392.0 GDY 2215 Mariehamn Godby FI 1643km 21 393.0 TAT 2217 Molde Tautra NOR 1501km 21 409.0 SG 2222 Satenas SWE 1210km (Patrice Privat, France - ndblist 22/02/2008) 19 20:05 326 KTW 1249 PYRZOWICE, POL Ex P 588 19 20:20 327 MVC 1882 Merville, FRA 18 23:05 334 VI 1346 VERKHNIE VYSOTSKE, UKR 19 02:05 334 HDM 1706 COLEMAN, DEU 20 02:08 351 KP 1147 Y Karup, DNK 15 17:24 389 SH 1512 Y SHYRIAIEVE, UKR 17 04:16 390 SAG 1477 Y SAJOHIDVEG, HNG 18 21:00 414 BRI 2086 BRISTOL, ENG 18 02:00 420 SHF 2213 Orsk, RUS 17 20:42 431 ONT 1687 Y Kleine Brogel, BEL 16 20:15 435 BI 1887 BISERT, RSE 16 20:04 441 CK 1405 PREROV, CZE 15 19:22 458 HI ? , XUE 15 19:23 460 GB 1674 VOLCHANKA, RUS 15 19:26 478 NGT 1087 Powidz, POL Ex GT 16 03:20 480 L ? (Platforma Fixa Centrala de Productie). They did calling (MultiPSK decodes what looks like a 7 letter-selcal "TXPMQIU") on 4207 kHz and later send a message to "PETROMAR_CONDUCERE" (?). But for sure not on simplex... They IDed as "P.F.C.P./YQFT" in this msg. YQFT seems to their international callsign. But that one is unkown at ITU's MARS database. ?!?!?!? Has anybody any idea about the aero operations on 5610 kHz? They ID themselfes as "CHL 5xx", but sometimes the same CHL gave as L, CL, CLL, CH or HL (short-cuts?). I thought weeks ago it could be a LDOC from Lima (Peru) "Hotel Lima", but now it did not look like any from PRU. CHL = Chile? But CHL is not the 3-letter ID for any Chilean airline, but a COHLMIA AVIATION from Dallas, TX. Traffic was for sure aero, English language but sounded like "no native English speakers". The UNID Russian coastal station UHX5 was again logged on 6483 kHz in CW. No further ID so far, only "my" old idea for a new "Astrakhan Radio". Any comments? AUB-427 came in fine as a new one allthough it's not that far from here. It's allways covered by RY-427 an/or TJA-426 (+1027). I've to cope with a local noise which has been becoming a plague especially during the afternoon and the evening untill 0100/0200 hours for a couple of weeks bringing the S meter up to S6 from 200 Hz to 6 mHz. Patrick, I've every reason to fear I'm joining your club !. It appeared exactly the week the neighbour installed a new HD Plasma TV set. Cause or coincidence ? That's the question ? Новые названия: "95,2 FM" и "Моя Семья". Соответственно, изменениям подвергнутся фирменный стиль, оформление эфира обеих станций, программы, к которым обязательно добавятся новые, появятся звездные ведущие и свежее видение успешного развития обеих компаний в будущем. Эти изменения призваны стимулировать новую волну интереса к существующим проектам, направлены на расширение аудитории, а также на привлечение новых групп слушателей. Однако, запланированный ребрендинг и модернизация программной политики лишь косвенно коснутся музыкального формата обеих радиостанций. В целом же, обе стьанции останутся верны направлениям, которым они следовали в течение всего времени своего существования. То есть, "Моя Семья", как и прежде, будет ориентирована в первую очередь на женскую аудиторию, а "95,2 FM" не изменит своего стремления предоставлять слушателям возможность наслаждаться качественной рок-музыкой, зарекомендовавшей себя во времени. Новое руководство радиостанций намерено активно развивать перспективныйlj потенциал этих проектов и открыто для плодотворного сотрудничества и партнерских отношений с заинтересованными компаниями. The schedule for this months testing is: To Europe - 6060 kHz 18.59-20.59 UTC 2pm to 4 pm Eastern Standard Time 8 to 10 pm Central European time 250 kW Transmitter To Near-East / Middle East - 9595 kHz 14.59-16.59 UTC 10 am to 12 noon EST 5 to 7 pm Israel time 250 kW Transmitter" http://www.overcomerministry.org/content/view/334/95/ In the coming months the Euro-African Medium Wave Guide (EMWG) will celebrate its 10th anniversary. On this occasion a quiz contest will be held, open to everybody, regardless of location or club membership. The quiz, 21 questions, will deal with many radio aspects, and will not solely cover medium wave. The contest dates have been set to 01 March 2008 through 30 April 2008. A special web site has been set up for the contest: www.emwg-contest.org. Please feel free to have a look. So as of 01 March you will be able to see/download the quiz from the web site. Until then you can see what prizes have been added for the participants. There you will find the information on schedule, prizes (for now), sponsors, etc. As participating is (really) more important than winning, some prizes are given randomly to entrants. Finally, I would already like to thank the following sponsors: Medium Wave Circle, Danish Shortwave Club International, RadioVisie, NASWA. (Herman Boel, www.emwg.info and www.emwg-contest.org) http://www.dswci.org/news/ ( Latest prizes received - 1 subscription to Radio User Magazine; 5 free one-year e-subscriptions to DXA-Bulletin and their members mailing list; 3 copies of WRTH2008) (Mike Terry, U.K. - dxldyg 21/02/2008) Швеция 30 марта немецкая служба "Радио Швеция" в последний раз выйдет в КВ/СВ-эфир.
