After that, there will be work remotely from Moscow, but the other alternative is to transfer to New York for a short while. You will be used by the investigation team. Carbon Accounting Specialist (Operations Analyst)

Background: In line with its corporate climate change strategy IFC began measuring carbon footprint from its investments and estimating carbon abatement from its investment and advisory services in 2010 . The methodology on and approach to carbon accounting, footprint and abatement is now being designed by the IFC Climate Change team with intention to apply it globally after piloting in one of the IFC regions. The Operations Analyst will advise the select IFC region, namely Europe and Central Asia (ECA) region , in the process of piloting and will be responsible for conduction of ECA regional carbon footprint exercise (focusing on investment projects) and design of methodology for accounting of carbon abatement from both investment and advisory operations in the region. Work will be done in close liaison with the IFC Climate Change teams and with ECA region investment and advisory teams.
