The Decree of the Russian Federation Government N 841 of November 10, 2008 (document is in Russian), which was putted into effect upon expiration of 90 days from official publication, has established the list of precious metals and metals with covering from precious metals, which placing under the customs regime of processing outside the RF territory is not permitted. In particular such metals as silver (code 7106 of the TN VED of Russia), gold (code 7108 of the TN VED of Russia) and platinum (code 7110 of the TN VED of Russia) are included to the list.
The amendments are made to the procedure for completion of the cargo customs declaration 2009-02-18 06:00
In purposes of improvement of the procedure for declaring of goods transferring through the customs boarder of the Russian Federation, the Order of the Federal Customs Service N 1670 of December 25, 2008 (document is in Russian) makes amendments to the Order of the Federal Customs Service N 1057 "On approval of the Instruction on the procedure for completion of the cargo customs declaration and the transit declaration" of September 4, 2007 (document is in Russian). In particular, the right is granted to a declarant to apply the periodical customs declaration at declaring of cash in currency transferring through the customs boarder of the Russian Federation in connection with sale of goods not only on air vessels boards but on railroad and other kinds of transport. According amendments are made to the Procedure for completion of the cargo customs declaration.
