Спасибо.
Вопрос решился. Проблема была в том, что был запущен Symantec Backup Exec.

Jens Bruntt doesn't like the Designer Help in Notes 8.5, particularly the search function. So Jens devised a way to get it to be more selective in what information it returned. Descriptions and screen shots are included to help you sort out Designer Help.
This wiki article explains how you can use the standard Eclipse variable substitution mechanism in your components data settings in Lotus Notes 8.5.1 and Lotus Expeditor 6.2.1.
For various reasons, a customer of mine is contemplating moving away from Domino.
The first step they're going to take is to move the people listed in their Domino Directory/Address Book in to another CRM outside of Domino, such as Microsoft Dynamics.
Obviously the users still need to login to and use the Domino applications I've developed for them over the years and so they need to authenticate with Domino. ACLs, Author/Readers Fields etc still need to work.
All I've advised them of so far is that whatever they choose it should make itself available as an LDAP service, so that Domino can use it as a trusted source via Directory Assistance. They can then keep same Notes usernames.
They're yet to settle on a CRM to move to and have asked me what the requirements, if any, there are for whichever they choose. All I can think of is LDAP. Am I right in thinking LDAP is a must-have for their chosen CRM?
What experience do you guys have in this field? Anything to avoid or tend towards?
Thanks to Stephan H. Wissel I learnt of Balsamiq via his site yesterday. It's one of those pieces of software you probably don't realise you need until you see it. Certainly, I didn't. Then, within minutes of seeing it, I was reaching for my wallet and am now a licensed user.
In brief it allows you quickly mock-up a website/application/whatever. Examples. This is useful on so many levels.
For starters it will definitely help working with customers to understand what they're after before I start, rather than iterating towards it after I've "finished".
Outside of work it will help me with personal projects, such as the planned re-hash of this site. Nothing major. Just moving, adding and dropping some elements from the layout to help it adapt to what it grows in to (the recent articles section needs to go!). Here's the mockup I have so far.
Looks a lot like it does now, but this is where I plan to take a "helicopter view" and start working on it.
As well as exporting PNGs like the one above you can save/export the BMML files (XML) which describe the mockup. Here's the file for the above layout. There are lots of BMML files available for inspiration.
If your client had the software you could send them the file, have them add annotations and return it for further tweaks. Although this will be easier soon when they release an online version.
Using With Flex
You can even export the layout to Flex code and import straight in to Flex Builder. Although at first glance this is like saying you can write and export HTML from Word. You can but it's very messy. The Flex generation seems to just use absolutely-positioned canvases for everything. You'd probably spend longer tidying it up than creating from scratch!
When an admin marks one or multiple person documents in the Domino Administrator client and choses to do a design replace to another mail template, ask him whether to change the user's mail file design or the address book's.
There is a new project called 'Driving Directions for Google Maps'. Dragon W Li from IBM has contributed it (he had also contributed Sender Analytics and Bookmark Viewer for Delicious). This Eclipse plugin allows Notes users to enter start and ...
For the web there is the option to Open Designated Page. For consistency and minimising design elements it would be good to have the option of Open Designated Page. Currently the only way to do that is to put it in a Frameset and Open Designated Frameset.
For the web and, from 8.5.1 for the client, there will be the option to Open Designated XPage, so it would make sense.
For reasons I find completely unfathomable, the shortcuts to do identical operations are different between the Notes client and the Domino Designer. For instance:
In the client, as it has since the beginning of time, Ctrl-M creates a new mail message. That USED to be the same in the designer but now (I'm on 8.5.1), Ctrl-M in the designer toggles you back and forth between the full screen of whatever panel you're on.
There are a lot of people out here who use keyboard shortcuts ALL THE TIME. It was bad enough when, a few years ago, somebody arbitrarily decided to change the keystrokes that had worked in all the prior versions. To now require us to learn different sets of different keystrokes as we move not only between versions of Notes (we have customers on versions from 5.5 to 8.x) but also between the client and designer...it's ridiculous.
I think the top innovator feature is a fantastic way to promote community activity, individual accomplishment, and easy access to individual profiles of the most active participants. It would be great to have the ability to remove certain people from the list if necessary, especially if their contribution is based on their admin rights or their job responsibility for helping to manage the ideajam site. I would say this would be mostly useful to remove administrators due to the increase in volume, activity related to their maintenance and monitoring of the site. This way, you can show true participation based on the community rather then also displaying admins.
The current implementation of id's in XPages is -very- cumbersome, and makes it harder to write unobtrusive JS. A workaround for this would be to make a hashmap (converted to a JS object in the browser) of all the element names/their rendered id.
I would think this shouldn't be too hard to implement in the compiler-engine..?

In Lotus Domino, when working in large address books, users may need to look only at a defined subset of entries for the vast majority of their lookups. However, the default functionality performs a lookup into the entire address book which contains many entries that the user generally does not care about. How can this functionality be improved so that users are only looking at relevant entries?
After changing the name of a resource in the Resource Reservation database, the Chair receives emails; one saying that the change was successful and one saying that to finish the change you must press a button to update your existing meetings. After pressing the button, you receive a "Create cross certificate" request and are then told that the meeting did not update.
You have configured Notes to not obey the operating system's time zone settings. When you do this, however, you notice that Notes overwrites the OS setting for Daylight Saving Time (DST).
You print a memo or a Calendar entry using the Notes 6.5 client. You notice that the entire contents of the "To:" and "cc:" fields do not print. Why is this?
