XFree86-4.4.0 не находит шрифт 'fixed'
Hello All.
Достали глюки с XFree86-4.3.0. Скачал XFree86-4.4.0-src-[123].tgz;
распаковал; make World; rpm -e --nodeps XFree86; make install; startx
... и не может найти шрифт, хотя все шрифты и настройки остались от
хоть как-то работавших 4.3.0.

Вы используете X font server, но вероятно забыли его запустить до
запуска иксов. Удостоверьтесь так же, что когда Вы `rpm -e' иксы, старый
xfs удалился, а на его месте присутствует новый от 4.4.
