Система компьютерной алгебры GAP (http://www.gap-system.org) - свободно распространяемая, открытая и расширяемая система для алгебраических вычислений, задуманная в 1986 г. как инструмент комбинаторной теории групп, и распространившаяся впоследствии на другие разделы алгебры. Рассылка Украинской группы пользователей системы GAP (http://www.gap-system.org/ukrgap/) содержит новости системы GAP (преимущественно о выходе новых версий системы и пакетов для нее) и анонсы материалов сайта. Кроме того, одним из главных направлений рассылки является публикация объявлений о конференциях, связанных с вычислительной алгеброй. Эти объявления публикуются без перевода на языке оригинала, что позволяет сократить до минимума затраты времени на подготовку выпуска. Отбор конференций для объявления в рассылке осуществляется по личному усмотрению ведущего, поэтому для более полной информации рекомендуем также конференции, объявленные на сайтах AMS, EMIS, FDLIST, alg.announce, AMCA, LMS.
